Talks-to-Spirits was a member of the Tribe of the Moon. Talks-to-Spirits was tattooed and wore a moustache and red feathers in his white hair. He "was a shaman who could communicate with dwellers of the astral world. He wore the sacred medicine pouch...which held infinite worlds."

Note: Ronald Byrd points out that presumably the pouch was the same one used by Shaman, a member of the modern heroes Alpha Flight.
