Foreign Policy
The Libertarian Party and Breanne Brislenn believe that the United States should obstain from intervening in the affairs of other nations. It is also recognized, by both the party and Miss Brislenn, that all people have the right to resist tyranny and defend themselves and their rights against governments or political and revolutionary groups. Miss Brislenn opposes U.S. government participation in any world or international government, as well as any treaty under which individual rights would be violated.
Miss Brislenn doesn't agree with one of the Libertarian Party's platform planks, however. The one that states :"We would end the current U.S. government policy of foreign intervention, including military and economic aid, guarantees, and diplomatic meddling. We make no exceptions." Miss Brislenn does agree with the statement that the U.S. shouldn't meddle militarially or diplomatically, but she feels that if a country requested help in any way there is reason why the U.S. shouldn't help them unless their intentions were less than good.
