Medicare
The Libertarian Party's Five-point plan to reduce health care costs:
         1. Establish medical savings accounts
         2. Restructure tax policy
         3. Deregulate the health care industry
         4. Replace the FDA
         5. Privatize medicare and medicaid

Today, more than $2 billion is being spent per day on health care, and the numbers are still rising. Due to the high costs of insurance, accented by the poor service provided, 35 million Americans don't have any form of health insurance. Included in this group of Americans are those who either can't afford health insurance or have loss faith in the health care system. The Libertarian Party states that the only health care reforms that are likely to have a significant impact on America's health care problems are those that draw on the strangth of the free market. The developed five point plan, seen above, will reduce health care costs, while extending access to care.
Breanne Brislenn fully supports the Libertarian's five point plan for health care reform. By experiencing first-hand the problems that exist in the health care system as a physical therapist, Miss Brislenn recognizes that changes need to be made, and, if elected, she will strive to accomplish these changes.
