Gordon Charles Bachelder
Gordon graduated from the Athol High School in 1942. He enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps, served from Feb. 1943 to Dec. 1945, and was wounded in combat in the Pacific Theater. He is employed by the Bachelder Oil Company, Athol. Lillian graduated from the Athol lfigh School in 1943 and received her nursing diploma from the Springfield (Mass.) Hospital in 1947. She is a church school teacher and is active in Cub Scouts and in her parish Confraternity of Christian Doctrine. Family recreations are camping and fishing. Residence: Athol, Mass.
Lawrence Elwin Bachelder
Lawrence, a graduate of the Athol High School, is associated with Bachelder's Automotive Distributors, Inc., Bachelder Oil Co., and Bachelder Truck and Equipment Co. Larry and Bev are both active in church work,he as a trustee and she as a deaconess in the Athol Congregational Church. They have raised poodles and for several years they sold Niagara Cyclo Massage equipment. Beverly is a substitute teacher in the public schools and is teaching in the Head Start program. Residence: Athol, Mass.
Philip Ivan Bachelder
Philip graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1965 with a B. S. in Chemical Engineering. He received his master's degree in the same field in 1966 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is employed by the Monsanto Company, hydrocarbons and Polymers Division, Springfield, Mass. Gail graduated in 1965 from State College at Fitchburg, Mass., with a B. S. in Elementary Bducation. She has taught third grade in Framingham, Mass., and has been a substitute teacher in Plainfield, N. J., and in Oak Ridge, Tenn. Residence: Ludlow, Mass 
Winfred William Bachelder
Win, who was a mason, is now in a nursing home in Chicopee, paralyzed as a result of two strokes. Angela, a graduate of Bryant and Stratton Business College, Providence, operates a drapery and slipcover shop in Feeding Hills, Mass. She is the legal guardian of her two grandchildren. Residence: Feeding Hills, Mass..
Richard Carl Bixler
Rick attended the University of t:issouri and graduated from the Eaton
Barber College, Little Rock, Ark. Now a master barber, he has his ovm shop in flot Springs. Judy attended Stevens College, Columbia, Mo., is interested in ceramics and sewing. Residence: Hot Springs, Ark.
Earl Richard Haney
Dick attended St. Johnsbury Academy, Vt., 1957, University of Maine, 1958 and 1960, B. of Ed. in Biology, 1962, Plymouth State College. He is now working full time for a master's degree in chemistry at the University of New Ifampshire. He has taught chemistry at the high school level. Sharon received a B. of Ed. in Accounting, 1963, at the Plymouth State College, Plymouth, N. H. She is now a teacher at the McIntosh College, Dover, N. It. Residence: Kittery Point, Maine.
Charles Manton Hill
Charles graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music, diploma 1939, and received an M. S. from the University of Rhode Island in 1954. Ile is now teaching music in the public sclools in Show Low, Ariz. Edith teaclies piano, is active in the local Women's Club choral group, the art festival association, and the church choir of viiich Charles is the director. Residence: Show Low, Ariz.
Harry Irik
Harry and Merrilie are both graduates of the Santa Monica High School and City College. Harry majored in business administration-and is employed by the General Telephone Company. Merrilie, an art major, is a proof operator for the Security-First National Bank. Residence: Santa Monica, Calif.
Kenneth Bigelow Richards
Kenneth, who was a motor machinist inate in the U. S. Navy, April 27, 1944, to December 18, 1945, was stationed at Morro Bay, Calif. Thelma and Wayne joined him there for three months. He is employed as a teller at the Athol Savings Bank. Thelma is office manager for the Bachelder Oil Co., Inc. She has been deeply involved in church activities, having served three years as president of the-Woman's Society of Christian Service, two years as president of the Millers River Council of Church Women, and thirty years as a church school teacher. Residence: Athol, Mass.
Wayne Charles Richards
Wayne graduated from the University of Massachusetts, 1962, with a B. A. in English. He entered Drew Theological Seminary in the fall of 1962 to earn a B. D. degree, Jan., 1967. In 1964 he was selected as a Wesley Foundation Intern and was sent to the Louisiana State University Wesley Foundation in Baton Rouge during the 1964-65 school year. Ile
has been minister to youth in the Mt. Fern Methodist Church in Dover,
N. J., 1965-67. Dawn graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1961 with a B. S. in Tiome Economics. She took graduate courses in Li- brary Science while at L. S. 1-1. She has wrked at the Drew University Library since the fall of 1962. The whole family worked on a special project of "beach evangelism" during the summer of 1966 in Ocean City, N.
