Hi

It is always exciting to find new cousins.  You have many more in Iowa and some in Colardo, California and Washington.

I grew up in Iowa but currenlty live in Wisconsin with my family.

My parents still live in Monticello. My aunts also live in the Monticello, Anamosa, Langworthy area.

I never knew how important the family information I had was. The only reason why I was going back into the family history to find information on Harriet Hunter. Alberts wife.

We have a gentic condition that is x-linked and affects males.  I am hoping anyone with any information on Harriet could help me out.
We have what is call Spg1/Masa syndrome --Spastic parplgia that happens on one of the genes. Mental Retardation, Aphasia, shuffled gait and Adducted Thumbs. My self, my sister and several of my female cousins have the gene and it has affected our sons. I have 2 brothers and 2 first cousins and 3 second cousins.
If anyone knows of anyone in the New Hampshire, New York area with these symptoms. I would love to be in contact with them.

In my research I see something about first familes ofAmerica. What is this group?

Until next time
