"The owner of Island Rental, John Batchelder, held open house recently, to give people an idea of the great variety of things he has available for you to rent or by. Included in the list of such things are pick-up and flat-bed trucks; vans, including a van large enough to move furniture; and electric generators in a variety of sizes.  With spring cleaning near at hand, he thought you might want to know that he has steam, regular and wet-back shampooers so you can give your carpeting a good cleaning.  He also has dry vacs and floor polishers available.    For gardeners, there areroto-tillers, lawnmowers, post hole diggers and wheel barrows.
For those wanting to clean a house they're moving into or out of, if you don't  have your regular supply of cleaning utensils available, you
can see John about renting buckets, squeeges, brooms and mops, at a very reasonable price.  For the tots there are high chairs and cribs that can be rented and wheel chairs available should you need them.
He has front-loaders; compressors; all sorts of electrical tools, for small jobs and big ones; plumber's tools, ie. pipe cutters, dies and wrenches, plus water pumps; and even a trench digger.
Mr. Batchelder has the largest variety of equipment available on the island, and he invites you to stop by and look it over at his place on Airport Road in Lihue."
