GERMANY, HOLLAND TRIP

It had been quite sometime that we wanted to go to some place before the winter would set in Sweden. And this time a new member was in, Rahul(BOSE DK as we call him), and we were planning on hiring a car and go to some place within Sweden. The planning began and I agreed to any place at any time they would start.                          One reason for that was I was quite confident that it would never happen as it would be very difficult for us to go in a car  as very few knew driving..as a matter of fact only one knew driving and BOSE DK only had driven in india where driving is exactly opposite as that in Europe and on the other hand even if we went on a trip it would be gr8 fun .The plans remained as plans for quite sometime and one fine day...just like the OSLO trip everything started to fall in place and it so happened that we had now 9 ppl eager to come on the trip.                                                And adding to the surprise ...we had somehow decided to go to Germany and Holland(Amsterdam) instead of driving within sweden.           Never mind......the human spirit has taken people to the moon                                               ........and ....why not to a neighbouring country??????????            But the only fear was the "German Autobahns"....believe me its no less than formula car racing (of course u dont get the chequered flag and the points as u finish the race, u r still alive in the end...and that's a big enough incentive with some amatuer driving )                       ....man it can scare the shit out of u (just sitting and watching the cars zip past you reminds me of TV video game...but in a game u get to restart or have 2 or 3 lives...:) )... However we set off on a sunny friday morning with loads of junk for the journey... The maps of Germany and Holland with the speedway infos were taken along with exact directions obtained from a professional website....                                        this was another problem....one wrong exit from the speedway and u might end up in completely wrong place ...and it takes u atleast another hour to get back on track...                                                               keeping aside all the fears and hoping for the best we set sail on a Renault 9 seater van( and btw this time Renault have won the FORMULA 1 Championships...2005) ...however ppl here call the 9 seater a BUS!!

our first stop was Copenhagen airport to pick up another friend ....and then there was no looking back...we zoomed through the Danish motorways ..thanx to careful driving by BOSE DK....we reached Rodby from where we had to take a ferry to enter the mainland Europe.... and finally we did land in Germany ...it was afternoon by this time and stopped by to have lunch......
