Betis 7 pts GD -12 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RESULTS Rhia Edwards Although he lost one game, he won 3 against very hard opposition. Rhia's Vote: Rob Perini (Real Madrid) Chris Green The 2 portugese teams have done well this month, but haven't had particularly strong opposition (in my opinion) so i am going for Rob Perini for the way he has transformed Madrid. You cannot argue with 3 wins, and a narrow defeat in which he deserved more. Chris' Vote: Rob Perini (Real Madrid) Matt Farrimond Unbeaten in 4 games and +5 GD and a close 3-2 win over Betis kept them close in the title race. Matt's Vote: Paul Anderson (Porto) Paul Bickley Played tough teams and drew. His loss to porto was cancelled out with a fantasic draws against Juve and Benfica. Paul's Vote: Chris Bickley (Real Betis) Paul Anderson Goes to Gary Hargreaves for putting Benfica right back into the title race. I have to say though that Tony, Rob & Chris Green were all contenders for me this month. Paul's Vote: Gary Hargreaves (Benfica) Alistair Rea My vote goes to Rob Perini for getting real madrid up the table. Alistair's Vote: Rob Perini (Real Madrid) Paul Bryant My nomination is Benfica because he has played slightly better sides than Porto and equalled his performance. Paul's Vote: Gary Hargreaves (Benfica) Jamie Taylor he has taken Benfica to the top with his great managerial skills. Jamie's Vote: Gary Hargreaves (Benfica) Rob Perini The obvious choice might be to pick Chris, Gaz, or Paul - since none of them lost - but look at their teams. Chris did more with less than anyone. I mean, seriously: a draw to Fica, and an away draw to Juve, with the only loss by the thinnest of margins to Porto. It took some real managing skills to manage that. Rob's Vote: Chris Bickley (Real Betis) Kevin Toms For a great couple of results and turning inter back into title contenders. Kevin's Vote: Tony Anderson (Inter) Alan Gray Best results and against better oppo than (whoever it is else had w3 d1 results) Alan's Vote: Paul Anderson (Porto) Mark Cox Was a toss up, Gaz or Rob !! But after a while i went for Rob Perini with his 3 wins out of 4 and 2 of the wins against top half teams he just edged it. Mark's Vote: Rob Perini (Real Madrid) Tony Anderson Paul just shades it this month for me over Gary Hargreaves. Both have had impressive results and form but Paul's Porto has played 1 game more away from home............it's the only thing I could find to separate them! ;o) Tony's Vote: Paul Anderson (Porto) Marc Ritchie Just when Betis looked down with such a tough month ahead Betis managed three draws, the performances against Benfica and Juve swung it for me. Special mention should go to Rob Perini who only just missed out on my vote. Marc's Vote: Chris Bickley (Real Betis) Gary Hargreaves who would of thought that real would be challenging for the title at this point 10weeks ago?no1!..Robs done a great job getting the mighty bernabeau boys back to a major force again and wins against fellow title challengers Roma and Inter and a hard fought win against Lecce and narrow defeat against potential champs Juve has earned him my vote :o) Gary's Vote: Rob Perini (Real Madrid) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RESULTS 1. Rob Perini (Real Madrid) 5 Votes 2. Paul Anderson (Porto) 3 Votes 2. Chris Bickley (Real Betis) 3 Votes 2. Gary Hargreaves (Benfica) 3 Votes 3.
