Real Betis VS Barcelona

Valencia VS Real Madrid

Real Betis have unfortunately saved their best form till it's too late. Last week they managed a great win and only their second win against Roma 3-0. They will still hope that they can win another this week against Barce. Barcelona also have started to play better resulting in them swapping with Panathinaikos. Last week they drew to Milan but will not be able to move up any more places. My prediction Real Betis 1 - 1 Barcelona. Match odds Real Betis - evens     Draw - 4/5      Barcelona - evens

Valencia managed to get a win last week over fellow relegated team Lecce. With that win they have swapped places with Lecce and now will fight to remain off the bottom. This week though they are expected to lose easily. Real Madrid got possibly their biggest result last week when they beat Porto in a tight game 3-2. The highest they will be able to finish is third which would be a great achievement for a club that used to be battling to stay up. My prediction Valencia 1 - 3 Real Madrid. Panathinaikos VS Inter

Milan VS Lecce

If last week is anything to go by, this game is looking a dead cert to be a goaless draw. Last week both teams failed to score. Panathinaikos will be hoping to move up after been dislodged by Barcelona. Panathinaikos were the ones to be beaten by eventual champions, Juventus. Inter are looking as if they will finish 5th as Madrid will be playing Juventus and are favourites to wn. This will be a disappointing season for the current champions. Milan have made an improvement since last season. Only by about 2 places but that is a great result in a division as hard as this. Lecce on the other hand are going down after coming up the previous season. Last week Milan got their second 2-2 in two weeks after drawing with Barcelona. 6th is the highest position possible but can still drop down one so a draw is needed. Lecce lost to relegation rivals Valencia and have declined as the season has continued. My prediction Milan 3 - 1 Lecce. Match odds Milan - 4/5     Draw - evens     Lecce - 2/1.

Juventus VS Benfica

Porto VS AS Roma

A great game to end the 4th season. Two of the leagues best teams clash and a cracker is in store. Juventus wrapped the title up last week with a comfortable 2-0 win against Panathinaikos. It is yet to be decided whether Juventus manager, Chris Green will be fielding some of his fringe players. If so Benfica may be able to win and possibly nick second. Benfica to have had a good season but again not had quite enough. This week they will want to prove a point by beating the champions. My prediction Juventus 2 - 2 Benfica. Porto will want to win their remaining game of the season after not only losing the title but losing to fourth placed Real Madrid. After been in control for a lot of the season they will be disappointed at not winning the championship. At the start of the season Roma's main aim would of been to stay up and that they have done comfortably. They will find it tough against Porto after coming off the back of a loss. My prediction Porto 3 - 2 Roma. Match odds Porto - 4/5     Draw - evens     Roma - 2/1.

Brescia VS Deportivo

Alaves VS Real Sociedad

Brescia are now champions and have had an amazing season after been top for the whole season and only losing once. Last week they faced a tough Vigo and managed to win 2-1. Deportivo are 3 points behind second and have to win and be sure that Madrid lose which is unlikely. But they will want the advantage in play offs and finish third. My prediction Brescia 1 - 1 Deportivo. Match odds Brescia - 4/5     Draw - evens     Deportivo - evens.

The way division 2 stands at the moment this game could decide the final play off spot. The winner here could get into the play offs providing Boavista fail to beat Espanyol. Last week Sociedad not only took another step closer to the play offs but they also made sure of their safety. They ended up beating strugglers Galatasaray. Alaves however lost to in form team Deportivo but still can make the play offs even though it will be harder for them than Sociedad. My prediction Alaves 1 - 2 Sociedad. Sampdoria VS Lazio

Lazio have slipped away similar to what has happened to Porto. About 5 weeks ago they were third and pushing for second and now are 5th, 3 points off 4th. Even if they win this game it looks like they will be playing Deportivo. Last week they could only draw to Boavista. Sampdoria can still stay up but will need to win and hope Madrid lose. My prediction Sampdoria 1 - 2 Lazio. Match odds Sampdoria - 2/1     Draw - evens     Lazio - 4/5.

Galatasaray VS Ath Madrid

A point in this game will be enough to seal Athletico Madrid promotion to the top division. They are favourites to not only be promoted but win this game with relative ease. Last week Madrid drew to relegated and poor side Bologna. Also a win here for Madrid could possibly send Galatasaray down. Galatasaray have hovered in and around the relegation zone all season and unsurprisingly their fate will go to the last week. Bologna VS Celta Vigo

Celta Vigo are definately in the play offs. Who they will be playing is still to be decided as they can either move up one, down one, or stay the same. Brescia apart, Celta have been the most consistant performers after been in the play offs all season. Bologna are relegated and have had a poor season. My prediction Bologna 1 - 3 Celta Vigo. Perugia VS Udinese

Udinese will be in division two next season thanks to their 2-1 win against Bari. In winning they over took their opponents who are also promoted despite drawing to Napoli. This game is purely about who wins the championship. A draw would be good enough for Udinese but Perugia need to win. Next season Udinese will be playing Betis where opposing managers are brothers so Udinese will want to warm up for that occasion. My prediction Perugia 1 - 1 Udinese.
