Forgive me when I don't return a call for weeks - time just goes by so fast and I forget so much, but know you are soooo in my thoughts and prayers too and know I truly count you all among my best blessings.Thank you so much for the support and caring you've all given me through this past (almost) year...
Marcy lived in the East Tennessee Mountains with her husband and two sons.Their home looked down into the treetops.(all navy print are various excerpts from her posts,in her words)

I have a small critter farm here - 3 dogs, 3 cats, 1 bird and bunch of visiting raccoons I feed snacks too when they come by.
If you ever get the chance go to Ireland!!!! ...It is truly the emerald isle and the people are wonderful.Everything was spring green and all the baby lambs had been born. I spent a lot of time watching them frolic all over the place.
I am positively nuts about sheep. Had a baby lamb as a pet once and kept him till full grown - he was wonderful -...His name of course was Laaaaaaambert!....Anyway, I would have loved to have lived on a sheep farm....
I decided I wanted to go see the ocean and I just got back from about a week and a half of sand, ocean and dolphins. I can't tell you what a world of good that it did. I think I'd maybe be better off living on a beach because I got so much better there. I was able to walk (not far or long walks) in the sand and pick up shells, sit by the sea and even entertain the gulls and dolphins who came by to check me out. We went to Topsail Island in case you are wondering. I guess the salt air and soft sand helped me the most. Wish I could bring that back home to my mountain. I'd really have it made then wouldn't I? LOL!!!!.......
This has been the best beach trip I've ever had. Did I mention FOOD?? Well, let me tell you that seafood fresh from the ocean will cure a lot of ills as well. Yum, Yum!!!! Oysters that melt in your mouth with all the hot huspuppies and slaw you could shovel down. We saw a whole season of weather while there. First we had three days of above 80 degrees, then a spectacular ocean storm that left lots of shells for me to enjoy picking up and then it turned cold and snowed!! Oh, boy, do I love snow --- even at the beach.
Laaaambert was placed in a petting zoo when he got too big.Marcy went to visit him all the time.
