For you on this
special day.
You're not just getting older,
You're aging. Like fine wine
until it turns
into vinegar.

I can remember
Men walking on the moon;
You can remember ice delivery.

I shook hands with Nixon,
But you got to push
Roosevelt's wheelchair.

I went to school
before computers and I
had to use a typewriter.
You jabbed sticks into
slabs of mud and
wrote in cuneiform.

I remember the draft.
You remember ration stamps.

My first car had
three-on-a-tree.
Your first car had a crank.

Even though
you're older than dirt,
you still have what it takes!
I send you my love,
and this special wish:
HAPPY
VALENTINE'S
DAY!

I know you like roses,
but the daisies
were cheaper.

Especially dedicated to my
special friend,
Teri of "Friendly Links",
who is old as sin,
and twice as popular!

Page by Redheaddad,
who is old enough to know better.

Music for this page
is old as hell.
"The Blue Danube Waltz"
by Johann Strauss, Jr.
(He's been dead a long time.)

If you are old enough,
you can check out
my other greetings pages,
some of which are pretty old:

I even dug up
an old counter:

This one was on my webrings page.
Which is now ancient history.
