A New Era Dawns

In late 2008 a whole new era dawned for our wonderful old man, driving.  The main reason is quite simple, Holly has a lot of problems balancing because of her injuries, and Sue and I are finding it harder to get into the saddle - old age setting in.

First experiments with driving took place around Christmas, 2008.  We used an old (ancient) harness that was originally used for working horses - hence the neck collar and chains.  Some of the pics we took on 29 December are on this page.

Even Dave got a first ride with our guy.  Max is getting used to this stuff and the lead rope has been removed again. Doc and Susan get their turn too.  Dave's leading, no rope.
