Desire Fantasies fill me. Not lust, but love Drives this desire. And I yearn for you. Yearn-burn-discern these feelings-dealing-sealing with a kiss. And I miss. You. Your tenderness and strength. Your true love Shimmering in your gaze. Haze-in a blazing fire-of not lust but desire-and I grow tired-Expired. The hour grows near. Hoping for Reconciliation In perfection. And I sleep now. With the fantasies Overcoming. Reality slips away. Away-swaying-praying-no playing, no lust, but love-from above-me. Alexis Ryan Souder 03/14/02 |
