I love you more than words can say And it grows stronger every day. The soft caress of your sweet hand Lets me know you understand And that you, too, feel the same. But when you turn your cheek away And do not hear the words I say It hurts me deep inside my heart Until I'm almost torn apart! But you, too, feel the same. I know how I have made you feel With the scar that will not heal. I have a choice I should not make, A chance I should not have to take, And I, too, feel a pain. We promised we would stay together And to feel this love forever. Don't go back upon your word Based on what has now occurred And I, too, will do the same. Held tight within our lover's arms We'll keep safe from other harms. Our love has strength to conquer all, And soon this fortress wall will fall Then us two, shall together reign.
