V.W. TRIKES |
V.W. Beetles are by far the most popular base for trikes. After the body is removed their strength lies in a solid heavy gauge tunnel running up the middle of the floor pan. The engine, drive train and torsion bar suspension are all in one neat package at the rear. As with other types of trike there are a huge variety of different styles.There are many very good photo-build sites on the web so I want to keep this as basic as possible. Below I will outline the simple technique for slicing the Beetle up. |
