"Linton" Larney
Tina is a Hampton Roads native who now resides in Tennessee. She brings drive and energy to The RELIC Band.
Tina has been singing since her childhood and won awards for her vocal talent back in her teens. She performed with area bands in the late 70's as well as doing guest appearances with others in the Virginia Beach area before moving out of state in the early 80's.
Since being with The RELIC Band as the lead vocalist, Tina has added percussion to her growing bag of tricks.
She is also very active in her church and performs there regularly.
Music
Tina's tastes in music are as varied as her vocal abilities and include: New Christian Music, pop, rock and as she says, "well, a little of it all".
Her favorite bands include: Fleetwood Mac, Journey, No Doubt, and Steven-Curtis-Chapman. Her biggest musical influences are Stevie Nicks, Pat Benatar, Linda Ronstadt, and Gloria Estefan.
For The RELIC Band, Tina adds a special mixture of style, finesse, drama, and sex appeal. Her stage presence has been finely honed by years of stage performance and it shows with her ability to draw people into The RELIC Band's live performances. She makes the crowd feel as if she is singing only to them and they love her for it.
