As I sit here today, and try to write the words of love I need to say,
It is so very hard when God took my only child away.
I know God has my darling son and loves him as I do,
But with every sunrise the pain and sorrow seems to start anew.
Son you were the greatest gift that God could ever give,
I wish so much he had taken me, somehow, and left you here to live.
I know you're up there with him and very happy too,
But son I love you so very much and this I'm sure you knew.
One day I'll see you son, of this it's true,
the family circle will be joined and happiness will start anew.
