Please provide information that you would like to share with other Aiglonians/Aiglonites.

This page will not be linked to a search engine.  The plan is to circulate the URL (Universal Resource Locator or address) to specific people.  If you are not wanting to share information with everyone who looks a tthis site,  sure, do not submit it.

To submit information, send an email to
Steve at talkinternational@yahoo.com
This will be a serial site... just one thing after another, no clear organization.....  I'll try to post the most recent stuff at the bottom of the site.  Just scroll down with the bar at the side.  I'll keep photos to a mininum so that the page pops up quickly.

Any comments?  (Pardon the typographical errors)... Send comments to me at talkinternational@yahoo.com

NOTE:  John Vornle long ago wanted to have a way of connecting Aiglon entrepreneurs and ideas with resources to make the businesses real.   These web sites can be a start... Just put your idea here and maybe someone will come to you with funding and personnel ready to get your idea to happen...

FROM LISA VON DREHLE  November 2001
OK, since I suggested this, I'll start off....  I enjoyed reading the
publications that Steve put together last year.  For those of you who
haven't received copies, bug him to try and get one.  I found it completely
intoxicating to be able to catch up on so many people, many of whom I hadn't
really known at Aiglon.  I recently passed my copies on to Peter Curran when
he came through town from Idaho and have now sent them on to Lesley Cameron.

As for me..., like everybody, trying to learn how to live post September 11.
So far in Chicago we have not been directly touched which I know makes it a
different experience.  I have never been a fan of evening news anyway,
so as time goes on I find if possible to pretend for large chunks of time that
nothing is really different now.  But of course it is.  I watch our
government try to grapple with the situation, feel that they are completely
out of it, but wonder who or how you could do better.

And meanwhile life does go on day to day....  2 years in to marriage and
very happy.  Why did I wait so long?  My husband, Borko, is Yugoslavian so
brings a particularly worldly, battle-hardened (or is it battle weary)
perspective to current events.  Still working in advertising, freelance
producing, but wondering how viable a livelihood that will be as our economy
continues to slip.

Heading to New York next week for 12 days.  Curious and somewhat anxious to
see how things are.

Thanks, Steve, for setting this up.  I look forward to checking in and
seeing how others are doing.

Lisa

ok, did you do it?  Don't wait till later.  Please do it now!
On another note, I have begun planning
the Aiglon reunion in New York. I don't have a certain date yet, but it will be either in October or November.  I will give you a save the date email as soon as I know.  Look forward to seeing as many of you as possible this fall.  Also, please consider donating an item for the auction at the reunion.  In the past, we have had many interesting and very desirable objects on the auction table, including Knicks tix, hotel bons in Villars, a Swiss cowbell, lunch for 4 at a NY restaurant, invitation to a wine tasting, various bottles of fine Scotch, Port, wine and champagne, original art, ski glasses, ski goggles, GPS devices, desk telescope, etc.  Be creative and see if you can come up with an item to donate for the auction.  Please contact me or Marci Izant marcheta@aol.com if you would like to donate an item or if you have questions.  Thank you very much.
