By pure luck, I was offered a 2nd (or maybe 3rd) hand Sky Scooter for a very reasonable price. Having been on the lookout for something trainer-like for my non-flying family members, this was a chance I couldn't pass up on! It seems to have all standard equipment: two HS55 servos, speed400 motor, 3:1 gearbox, Hitec 10A ESC, 7x600 Sanyo NiCd. Only the prop is missing. I'll start of with a 10x7 slow flyer prop, and take it from there.
There's plenty of renovations to be done, and this time I am going to be assisted by my son Erez. So for a change I have someone to blame when it goes wrong. The renovations pages will be updated as we go along.
