Glossary of Terms You should know

This is for the mere fact that I don't feel like listening to anyone who happens to see some yaoi or yuri references on this site and gets offended. There aren't a whole lot, but there are mentions. Some of the fanfics I've recommended have lemon too. So consider yourself warned. You don't like it, don't read or look at it. Any emails or such that I get about the matter will be nothing but entertainment for me.

Terms: Yaoi: Male/Male relationships, contains physical content, usually sexual actions. Shounen-ai: Similar to yaoi, but without much physical contact. Yuri: Female/Female relationships. Can be of various degrees, everything from implicated to sexual actions. Bishonen/Bishounen: Roughly translated to "good looking young boy" though usually refers to any man or teenager nowadays. Bishoujo: Female version of Bishonen. Hentai: Graphic sexual actions, either through drawings. Or nakedness in general. Lemon: Drawn or written sexual scenes. Lime: Implicated sexual actions, not as graphic as lemon. Doujinshi: Reproduced images of existing characters, or original characters. Out in a book, circulating around small storylines.
