Art of Fractal--Gallery 1 Page 1
MY FRACTAL GALLERIES
Welcome to my world of fractal art. Please make yourself at home. This is a place for enjoyment and relaxation, and an excursion into the wonders of infinity. All the artwork on my site is original. The same goes for the readings.I call them readings for want of a better word. In fact they are more like Portraits that capture an individual in a moment of time..

I have kept this site as simple as possible, so there are, hopefully, no distractions to interrupt the enjoyment of my visitors. If you are looking for techno-gymnastics, you will not find them here. What I hope you will find is a small space of something different to take away with you.
Gallery One
Fantasia, a new favourite. The gallery is here.
The fractals on this page are all more or less abstract, although you will see from the titles I have chosen for them, that they remind me of things beyond mere shapes and colours.
FRACTAL EXPLORER
There are many programs on the web to make fractals with. My all time favourite, and the one I use almost all the time is Fractal Explorer, a lovely piece of programming from Arthur and Olga, two totally brilliant and friendly Ukrainians who are helped by others, including Stephen Ferguson, the author of quite a few excellent fractal programs of his own. Fractal Explorer is free, and can be downloaded  from their new homepage
Basrs, but not a prison.
Gold and mother of pearl. My Spirals Gallery is here
Until very recently, fractals were virtually unknown outside the universities, where they are being developed to model behaviours as diverse as weather patterns, climate change, and the complexities of human nature and behaviour.

The mathematics are complex, and involve both real and imaginary numbers, in ways that were impossible before computers.  This results in a kind of quantum theory of everything--truly playing with infinity. Music as well as pictures and patterns can be made using fractals.

The pictures revealed by these numbers often have great beauty. At their best they are indeed fine art.

Some are also significant on many levels, including the individual, personal, human level. Each fractal is unique, just as each person is.

The colours and shapes taken together can have  deep significance for individuals for whom a particular fractal has been designed.

If you would like a personal fractal, designed and made just for you, or a print of any fractal on this site,
email me and I shall send details.
Gilded
Rainbow koru. This fractal I have adopted for my trademark/logo
Grotesque. Reminiscent of a 12th Century mummer. There are several in this series
Gold chased. Purely abstract. I like its simple elegance.
Hunted. A dark image indeed. I am thinking about reinstating me gallery of dark images. Is anybody interested enough to email me?
Please visit again. I am constantly changing things around. If you would like me to let you know when I update these pages, please email me and I will mail you each time I add new light paintings.
