We are marxists who believe that the world is currently run by and for a privileged minority at the expense of the majority. We support and actively build the struggles of working class people and the poor. We believe that genuine democracy and human liberation can only come through a socialist revolution. We are revolutionary democratic socialists.
Working for Mass Action
We are activists who struggle to build mass movements for progressive social change and beleive that only the political struggle of masses of people can establish genuine democracy and social justice
We are feminists who are committed to fighting sexism and misogyny wherever they occur. We support the feminist movement and especially align ourselves with revolutionary feminists. We work to help build an independent women's movement.
Anti-Racist
We are anti-racists who are committed to fighting racism wherever it occurs. We support the rights and the struggles of immigrants and refugees, as well as those of indigenous people.
Anti-Oppression
We are against all forms of oppression including the oppression of gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgendered people. We stand against the oppression of people with disabilities and support Quebec self-determination. We believe that all working class people and organizations should make an active commitment to supporting the struggles that oppressed people organize and lead for their own liberation.
Internationalist
We are internationalists who support the struggles of people fighting for change all over the world. We support the pro-democracy activists in Indonesia, the Zapitistas in Mexico, the rights of indigenous and nationally oppressed people throughout the world, and defend countries such as Cuba aginst imperialism.
Environmentalist
We are environmentalists who are angry about the destruction of the world's environment in the name of profit. We work to help build a militant, grassroots, anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist, and anti-racist movement for environmental justice.
Revolutionary
We are revolutionaries! We think that the only way to truly change the world is through overturning the capitalist system. We don't feel that running in elections and working through parliamentary politics is going to change the world. Only people struggling together and organizing collectively can bring an end to exploitation and oppression.
