Members Kazu Makino (bass/vocals) from Japan, Simone Pace (drums), and brother Amedeo Pace (guitar, vocals) from Italy, create a near perfect mixture of Pixies jagged guitar noise, Fugazi's melodic hardcore and a touch of bubblegum pop.

Taking their name from a song by New York band DNA, they released their first single 'Big Song' in 1993, with a self-titled debut album arriving a year later through 'Smells Like' records based in New Jersey.  Stand out tracks 'Sciuri Sciura' and 'Girl Boy' showcase their off-kilter rock sound and clever use of harmonics, which must owe a small debt to Sonic Youth, as well as many of the riot-grrrl bands of the early 90's.

Releases ever since have continued to thread an individual line between New York noise, tight-edged hardcore and summer-pop.  'Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons' (2000) was produced by Guy from Fugazi, and another release later the same year featured a Serge Gainsbourg cover version, and a remix by Third Eye Foundation, showing that public indifference is not due to lack of musical maturity or experimentation.

Much loved by the 'underground' fanzine community, this band are a well kept secret who create beautiful music, but are probably too discordant to gain the recognition they truly deserve.
