SAM YAFFA
Sam's first band was a Finnish punk rock group Suopo. He was only 15 years old when asked to join to Finnish band Pelle Miljoona Oy. Andy McCoy played the lead guitar, and the band were quite famous in Finland at the time. With Sam and Andy Pelle Miljoona Oy made one album and two singles.

With Andy, he left to join Hanoi Rocks, but was the first to leave after Razzle's tragic death, having already decided to quit during the US tour that effectively ended the band. After his departure in 1985 Sam moved to Stockholm, Sweden, with Anna (Andy's ex-girl friend). They had a son named Nicholas Samuel, and did a few gigs with Johnny Thunders. For a short while Sam had a band called the Chain Boys.

Following this, he made an EP with Pelle Almgren, and was asked to join American band Jet Boy who went on to record two albums before Sam left.

In the late 80's a Finnish band called Smack moved to Los Angeles and Sam joined them for a while. They played a few gigs and recorded demo tapes in L.A., but in 1990 Sam left for New York.

In early 90's, Michael Monroe and Sam were back together with Demolition 23, with Nasty Suicide also joining them later.  Within a year the band broke up, and whilst in New York Sam met his future wife Karmen Guy. They formed a band called Mad Juana, moved to Spain and recorded 'Skin Of My Teeth' in 1997, for the Finnish label Spinefarm Records. They remained in Europe for a year, but now live in New York, and a second album has since emerged.
RAZZLE
Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley was born in Isle of Wight. Razzle started to play drums in 1977 inspired by bands like Sex Pistols and The Damned. He played in several bands before Hanoi Rocks: Fuck Pigs (no recordings), Demon Preachers (no recordings) and the Dark. Razzle once said that Demon Preachers tried to sound like Alice Cooper. The Dark played in Razzle's own words "...fast and hard punkrock, nearly metal". Razzle joined The Dark in 1982 and played on a mini-album 'The Living End'.

As well as his time spent in Hanoi Rocks, he also recorded the Fallen Angels debut album with Knox (ex-Vibrators), and fellow Hanoi members Sam, Nasty, Andy and Mike.

Razzle's death in 1984 due to Motley Crue's Vince Neil's stupidity and recklessness ultimately led to the break-up of Hanoi Rocks.
GYP CASINO
Before Gyp joined Hanoi Rocks he was in a band called Warheads. In 1979-1980 Andy, Mike and Gyp were together in the The Nymphomaniacs, a pre-Hanoi band.  Gyp was with them when they moved to Stockholm and followed them to London on the road to fame and fortune.

After Gyp got fired from Hanoi Rocks he moved back to Sweden. In autumn 1983 Conny Blomqvist asked Gyp to join his band, Road Rats. In Sweden, the Rats were not held in any great esteem, but in Finland Gyp's Hanoi links helped them find a label who released two singles. The band also supported Hanoi Rocks when they returned to Helsinki. The Road Rats also made an album, but it never saw the light of day as the band disintegrated.

In fact, the band never really broke up, they morphed into Rolene, with Gyp switching to guitars and a few minor line-up changes. They released two singles and an album in 1985/86.  The late 1980's saw Gyp back with Warheads fearuring Stellan Hemringe and Pelle Almgren. Pelle and Gyp also managed a hit in Sweden with their band Wow Liksom.

In 1994 he was back with Andy McCoy in Shooting Gallery, and continued as drummer for Andy's Live Ammo band.
