She
In the woods the wind blows
her hair is white as snow
she stands so tall and very strong
her wisdom has grown from the past
in her eyes are the light of years
her voice is broke by all the tears
she sees the world passing away
like a old friend in decay
her wisdom comes from deep within
by her God and constant friend
she stands for all the things he's taught
she waves not for the things that are lost
she sees the things that might have been
she dreams the dreams only she has seen
but her heart will never fail
for it is full of love like a great sea swell
She is a friend to all that pass
he life is crossed by many paths
she touches lives she has never known
she is the statue made of stone
if you look you will see her there
standing with that snow white hair
she touched your life unawares
can you find her will you dare...
Sometimes as the Day Goes Bye
Sometimes as the day goes whizzing bye
We don't take the time to cry
We don't let our feelings go
And yet the urge is in our soul
Sometime as the day goes bye
We don't stop to open our eyes
To see the things in our midst
To see the people whom in our lives have blessed
Sometimes as the day goes bye
We don't take the time to smile
Our feelings are lost in us deep inside
So we let life go sailing bye
Sometimes as the day goes bye
We for get to thank the one's we love
And the stranger for some deed done
And so we miss the glee that comes
From bringing joy to someone
Sometimes as the day goes bye
We take not the time to reason inside
For if we did things would not seem
So dark and bland in-between
Sometimes as the day goes bye
We forget to worship God
And wonder why
And thus we do not pray
Or Sing his songs of praise
And we miss his comforting hand
And only I am to blame
Sometimes as the day goes bye
We don't see our wife
Our child, husband or son,
And thus we miss the things we should see,
That brings joy and peace
Sometimes as the day goes bye
Take some time to look inside
And see if by some happen chance
I have let too much of life pass
Take the time to make the change
And enjoy all God Brings
Someone
Thank goodness some one is there
Someone to help me
Someone that cares
Someone to laugh with
Someone I don't have to hide my tears
Thank goodness someone is there
Thank goodness someone is praying
Someone thinks I'm cute
Someone will laugh at my teasing
Someone to forgive me even when I don't deserve it
Someone to listen to my singing even when it hurts
Someone who can love me when love is all I want
Thank goodness someone is there
Thank goodness someone is caring
Someone who listens even when I'm blue and down
Someone who laughs with me and makes my frown turn around
Someone who knows I'm sorry with out the word being spoke
Someone is there always near
Thank goodness some one like Jesus is always near
Thank goodness some one like you are part of my life
May I also be the someone that you hold tight?
To help you and keep you, and be a good friend both day and nite
May I forgive you when you like me fail along the way?
And may we plan to reach heaven some beautiful day
We are all someone's in somebody's life today
Let us not forget all of us bring joy along the way
Sometimes we fail but other someone's care
And will go on loving us no matter what we do here
Thank goodness for someone thank goodness for you
The Indian
The Indian lived out in the woods
His life was always pretty good
Then one day the weather changed
And the days brought no rain
Food became hard to find
And the friends he had
Wasn't to be found on his side
Then the day he knew all was gone
Life was passing from him
His strength was gone and he was lost
His hunger filled his loins
And then as he slept by the fire
The nite owls were the only songs of the hour
A bear crept from the woods
And attacked him where he slept
Beside a fire grown cold for the lack of wood
He didn't even want to raise and fight
The bear had its desire
Then he heard from the distance far
The friends of old call his soul
He heard the owl cry out
Tomorrow there will be new light
The claws were ripping his flesh
And he thought it was too late at last
He remembered his loves and lost fires
Of his heart and those desires
The vision of her came to him
Fight on and win my warrior friend
He wondered if there was some hope
Because of her he had roamed these woods
When he thought he had lost her love
The bear its face next to his
His arm reached the knife so cold
On the ground beneath the snow
He pulled his arm up with knife in hand
His strength almost gone
And life passing from his glands
He plugged it deep in the breast of the bear
He did his best
The bear it tumbled from him
He was so cold
He felt his life passing from him
When he heard a voice soft and grim
A maiden was beside him now
Her touch so warm and gentle against his hide
He looked into those gentle eyes
She nursed his wounds and made him well
His love for her was like a great sea swell
He forgot all his past and the loneliness was gone at last
He wanted to start a home
And bring new life from her womb
So the brave went from the woods
Scared but healed more the dreams he would do
And he found a new life
In the maiden who saved his life
Love is strong and can do more then our dreams
It cures the heart and mends the soul
It gives strength to carry on
And if found can bring joy unknown
The mountain
As He climbed up on the mountain,
his feet though tired and sore
his hands cut and blistered;
his body weak and worn
his soul was so tired and the mountain very tall,
yet he keep moving onward
or else he would fall
along the way he met danger
not for the height of the stone,
but from the buzzards as they sang there little song
he almost gave over to there yearning commands,
trust in us brother
we are really your friends;
then the mountain lions came
and oh what a game
they sought his soul for their own gain;
there purred like kittens
but there teeth were so sharp
he almost lost his grip
to fall into there trap,
then came the eagle
with oh such a beautiful sound
there wings spreading outward
promising him to carry him to the ground
but as there lions grabbed him
the sharpness of there claws
the look in there eye's
said they would could not carry him at all,
While he climbed yet onward
with all the things he met
storms ragged around him
trying to force him to quit
he was tired and weary
often feeling despair
yet something deeper made him go forward
there were no trees to shade him
as upward climbed
and no place to rest his ever growing weary mind
no real help came to his side
for those he loved had failed him
yet he still pressed onward
hoping for Gods own touch to draw him nearer,
His soul had been endangered
not by the mountain he climbed
but by those things around
always seeking his mind
yet it was only the fear in him
that gave them any hope,
for the fear made him weak
as onward up he would go
as he climbed he learned lessons
not with out much pain
that none was really there to help him
but only for their own gain
he learned that the mountain
was his to climb,
and no help would come from others
as upward he would climb
he thought of just stopping
and jumping over the side
to dash up on the rocks
and rob the lions and buzzards of all they desired,
the eagle laughed at him
the lions there lips wet
the buzzards circled over him hoping for his last breath,
somewhere inside him
the urge to go on
to beat the mountain
to overcome
Maybe God was laughing
at all his silly fear
or maybe he was just teaching him
that in him could be no fear
I was thinking of you tonight
I was thinking of you tonight,
I was thinking of you at daylight,
My thoughts were on your sweet smile
was wondering if you were missing me somehow,
Thinking of your embrace
and the thought for me you make,
I was wondering what you are doing
if your thinking of me too,
thinking is this your busy time
wishing you were here all the time,
guessing how your hair must look
watching your face as you read a book,
Listening to your voice
thinking its not soft or loud,
I was thinking of you today and all the things you say
feeling your love in my heart in every way
hoping you feel the way I do
wishing I were there with you,
As the day goes passing by
and I wonder why
I'm thinking of you even now
instead of being with you to day
I realize work I must do,
so I will just have to go on thinking of you.
A hard Stone
Deep with in the rock
The stone so hard and cold
There is a little hollow spot,
Some would say it's filled with gold
Often if you would look close
The sweat you call dew
On that Little Rock
Is tears, it cry's for you,
If you would take it in your hand
And feel the warmth you think from the sun,
If you knew the truth my love,
Its is its heart love for you
If you think it sometimes hard
You must not have noticed on the ground
The chips do lie around,
And in that fine dust
A part of him is found
The thing that sometimes hurts the most
To this rock you have found,
It wonders if you will love him for always even when he's not around?
Will you hold him when it's cold?
Or shelter him from the rain
Will rub your hand across each and ever grain,
You see for if you trust what is inside
The gold really doeth abound
And it will make you rich someday
For its love that you found today,
This old rock can protect if you use it well
It can be a comfort when you are blue or down
It will love you when other loves have failed
Most of all if you keep it with you
You'll never need an another rock around
The rock can be your best friend
Listen when others would frown
It can caress you in its peace and love
And it will kill giants or make a pillow on the ground
It misses you when you are no where to be found
And alone it's just a stone
But in your hands it's a mountain
And with you it's never alone
A prayer
Today I said a prayer
I said it from my heart
I said it just for you
You have been on my mind
Though I don't know why
Sometimes I think you cry
Other times I think your fine
I said it bout your day
That joy would come your way
I said it for your health
Knowing he will hear
I said it for your strength
To meet ever task
I said it for your faith
That it will always last
My prayer for you
Was from my heart
Just as God expects
I know he loves you
Cause he placed you
In your very spot
To be a light for this world
To give someone some joy
To be a candle
Though the year
So when you have the time
And all else is drear
Say a prayer for me
Cause I know God will hear
A Rose
A rose is like a blessing
that god gives from above
it has oh such beauty
it's a symbol of love,
Still it is not with out some sorrow
for with it comes the thorns
yet the thorns are blessings
if we learn to understand them and what from them we learn
The thorns are the rose protectors
to keep it nice and sweet
so just like with in us
our thorns are not so bad you see,
They protect things in us even when sad or down
yet if we allow it you can work around the thorns,
hold the rose of beauty till early morning light,
I have seen many roses
thorns I have felt a few
but you are a special rose of beauty
there is none like you,
May I hold you in my heart
and can I promise you
if the thorn does prick me
I still will hold you dear,
Till we find the morning light
I will hold and love you,
If I press you to tight
Just touch my heart
And I'll go on loving you forever
You have my heart
Alone
I set here all alone
though there are others in the room
the place in my heart is bare
missing you and wishing you were here,
the time goes so slowly by
and there's no happiness inside,
tired and alone
feeling oh so very dry,
once I thought I had peace
but it was just a short retreat,
From the place that is my home
deep within my lonely soul
I sought not for wealth
things in this life just bring regret
People, places we have seen
have often caused us to dream
dreams they do fail
to fill this inward well
Love spoken does not past the test
its what's given that is best
it is shown not in words
but by tender touch
It is shown by ones care
to meet the needs we share
it is in the time we give
to lift a weary friend
To comfort when in despair
not to beat them when they are bare
loneliness is not a sin
it just happens deep within
When no one really cares
to take a place to always care,
often words of love or spoke
with out a real meaning of hope
Then it like a cancer grows
to still someone's aching soul
when the truth comes to bear
and it was love that dared
Just a need the other shared
it breaks the heart and leaves them bear
what is life and happiness
can you answer this
For in no one is to share
the joy the pain that is always there
There's nothing left in which to spare,
some think its in a wife
a child
money or
life's delights
but it won't be found in things we own and do
it only comes from within you,
When it happens in the heart
you your own life is worth not
For your care is on that one
in which you want to be one
the feelings run so deep
it then brings the fruit of our deeds
So that no matter what we say or do it's not for our selves but the other
We cannot help but start give all of ourselves into there care,
to do the things that say we care,
To show our love and understanding
by our thoughts we do share the deepest of our hearts storage
it comes out in every word
kind and gentle and with love
it comes to show by our deeds
the want to give them everything
maybe this is foolish talk
maybe there is none at all
who can ever understand
could it be that these thoughts are to deep to expect any one to see at all
to expect to find a love like this
that can fill this emptiness
Or is life some big game
where you give and take and never win
some take and only return a little of what they have earned
they give only from the head not from the deep within
is that there hearts are dead
have they lived without true love within
that they don't know it when it comes
have they settled for that which is less
because they don't believe its possible to have love that lasts
can it be hid in a song
a poem a rhyme
a story long
I find deep despair in knowing it could be there
and the world goes right along with out it,
taking and giving none
so many are there I'm not alone
they understand the words of this poem
for they to seek some inner grace
that's not earned or bought today
but given with out regret
to trust there heart with the rest
I know that God above understands this with his love
for he paid the cost
he sent his son for the lost
he paid the price to show his love
so I know love is from above
if man could learn this lesson then
that love is from deep within
the cost is high the reward so grand
for it brings happiness within
real true love at its best
is what love will give deep peace and happiness
nothing less will do at all
it only destroys the heart and soul
lives and families it will ruin if we give in masquerade love to someone
death is not the lost of breath
it is in the feelings like this
when one stands all alone
and has not found happiness
though I know this puzzle is long
it tells of one who searches his soul
and longs for more in this life
then kind words or gifts by night
who seeks for inner peace and love
knowing God love and his grace
believing that it must come thought faith
somewhere somehow before his time comes the chance of happiness
but if all is lost they will continue to trust in Gods strong touch
and bear his cross that they must waiting looking and wanting much
yet if the opportunity should come
not be blind and let it pass from there fingers grasp
mistakes we all do make
but let us not let love be lost someplace,
for it is life to the soul
if we till to late show the love what the ever the price we pay
someone will their heart we break
maybe there is nothing you can do
I only hope real love finds you
and you keep me in your prayers
and some kind word for me you'll share
and God will spare part of the load I bear
and teach me how to be content and abide
as others are in this life are sent may I not add to their load but give
comfort to their soul
and learn to live with this pain
and question not where I've been
but seek his eternal kingdom
Angels with us
To day as my journey winds down this life's road
my heart was heavy underneath its load,
then from out of the clouds a angel did appear
not some heavenly being but a earthy angel here
The hand out stretched reached to me and took mine in hers.
She gave me words of wisdom
words of strength and truth.
She reminded me that I am blessed
for all that God has done,
And I shouldn't give up till the race is won
all I could see was my failures
the victories had been lost
covered in my own unrest
lost beneath my gloom
but with that hand I was led to the bright sun light
And I could see the road again in the morning light
now maybe to you and other friends you would not see
what why this one is a angel to me
For what are an angel but a friend from God
to lead and help us in this life we trod
so you see from God she came
when I needed it most
To stretch our her hand and touch me
when I had so much to gain
I think if we look around you will suddenly see
God has often sent angels not just to me
Oh how blessed I am to have such a friend
in her, in you and in my God
whose love knows no end
As he walks
As he walks down life's road
sometimes fast sometimes slow
his head held high on most days
sometimes bent in shame
his load he often carries and smiles
not many truly know what the load is he cares inside,
but to a few he's opened the door and they no what hidden deep in the hearts corrodes,
yet no mater what has came he has gotten from each fall he's been in,
and even when the sun hides behind the clouds in the sky
he walks on forward and just cries
He has lost much on the journey he's in
yet he's gained more then he bargained
the end is not near he fears
so walk on a another day down here
His gains are friends like you
love he has lost and loves that are new
his eyes have tried to always see God to help him as his loving guide.
Sometimes he loses sight
and like the disciples got scared in the night
yet some hand reaches out.
It has been yours many times no doubt,
and like the master said walk on the sea
you cry out to the lonely he
walk on and I'll help you with your load,
walk on some one will be there to help with that load
so walk and walk all thought the night
tired, sad and often a fright
Some times happy and singing a tune, always wishing to be with you,
looking forward straight ahead, today he'll walk with no fear,
his eyes he won't remove, from Gods heavenly vision dear,
A Song
To day I heard a song
it wasn't very long
it didn't come from a radio
or the birds in the air
It had no special tune
yet the song was true
it had no voice I could declare
but yet it was very clear
It carried no words I can repeat
for they were hidden somewhere deep
the tune was yet so clear
that if you heard it you could hear
Why the song came to me
is beyond my understanding
it spoke of hearts that are on a mend
of troubled times that never end
It spoke of hope and not despair
it spoke of love somewhere
it gave a reason to dream on
and though I know its a old song
The voice was from some far place
and yet it rested very near my place
not a song I heard with my ear
for it was too the heart it came near
A song from which God did impart
to let me understand
he is listening he is therein my heart.
Clouds
Just when you are the lowest and the storms are high.
There is a wind that blows in the sky,
The clouds they gather dark and drear.
The wind it blows and the storm seem worse here,
Then the clouds by the winds strong tide,
As if by there own break apart and hide,
And then they are gone.
And sunlight beams across the sea
And we wonder why the storm had to be
But the beauty of the sun would have been missed
If in this life all was bliss,
So be not frightened of where you are,
Hang in and you will live to see the stars
Death
Death comes in the time
God has decided for you and me
it comes not to bring pain
Yet to those left behind what else can it bring
for those who part this life
it takes all pain, hurt and strife
it promises to bring at last a perfect peace
and happiness,
For on that road made of gold
with you I hope to stroll
to my mansion on a hill
with pine tree's very near
On my lawn as the word told
will be a stone
with my name wrote,
so no one there will dare
to not know who lives there
I'll eat from the tree of life
and in that place there'll be no night
we can sit and talk upon the lawn
and watch the angels sing us songs
Up to that place true love waits
its just inside the golden gates
For God the father he is there
and Christ his son, my bother and me are there,
I'll see my mom and others there, she won't have any gray hair
her eyes will be fine and her smile sweet when we on that street meet
grandpa and grandma will be tow
laughing with us on streets of gold
I long to be there even now
where death won't ever be around
no cancer, sickness will there behold
For God is master of our souls
So we must be patient here
to wait his call to meet him there
if death should come and steal me away
don't despair I'll see you again someday
I'll meet you at the gate with all those who still wait
my arms around you they will go
we'll be together I can hardly wait.
Dirt
I look at the dirt and it is old,
I wonder what it could tell it I had soul,
Would it speak of the things of old
like how God formed from it and laid it just so?
Would it speak of men like Adam or of giants that came there after
would it tell how Cain did slew his brother Abel with the his vengeance
Would it talk of the flood when it became only mud
of how the men of old like Jacob traveled on bare toes
oh the things it has seen
of great men and armies
of stories of both young and old
Men and women love untold
how we fought battles and men died
and of sorrows where mothers cried
would it speak of the lies been told
are give the secrets to hidden gold
Might it remember ever name of those who feet unto them cling between the toes,
could it tell where lost ones dwell and even know the gates to hell,
ah the angels it sure has seen and countless things though the ages ring
yet I think the thing most proud and yet the biggest burden it would unveil
Is how God took his mighty hand, took the dust when he began
to form a man then give a soul from the dirt to behold
and to that he added more and formed a woman that's for sure
and planted them on the ground to live and work and to dwell
I'm sure it knows the words there spoke of how they were one by Gods own stoke,
For it was the joining of dirt that made them life and gave them birth
so the history must still untold is hidden in the dirt we know,
old it is and stands still though it moves and shift's in the wind
God I'm sure still has a plan
For the dirt where it all began listen close with your minds ear,
maybe you can hear the tale That is not to long but lives amongst the stones
be glad oh mother dear that there is dirt behind your child's ear
And as you wash it away remember to let him go out play
for in the dirt so very old maybe he'll learn something to touch his soul
Forward
Life is full of turmoil
hearts are sad and full
sometimes the road is slippery
sometime it's just bad,
often we fall and are bruised
batter by life's storm,
Our hearts grow heavy with the labor
we wonder if there will be a dawn,
pain is cloak up on us
happiness we seldom knew
and yet God loves us,
Only he knows what to do
stand and carry on is the word he cries
and yet the legs grow weary
and the battle lasts though the nite
We look for comfort and light
and search for reinforcements
take the wrong turns
get lost in the darkness
and ghosts of past do haunt us
The shadows become scary things
yet we push on
hoping and believing
the end will soon come
The way we go is forward
the wolf is at our feet
no weapon we carry but his word
it keeps us from falling to deep
We stumble over little things the stones that become rocks
then the mountains seem to high
and the path it is lost
The word then comes a whispering go on and forward we must move
we find we failed to listen and didn't know what to do
we fall in deep sorrow,
the wind around us blow
the wolf is upon us where oh where can we go,
In the moment of destruction
a face it doth appear
we see Jesus standing
he is very near
He takes our hand and lifts us
he cares us past the trees and over the mountain tops,
where the wolf won't dare to follow
our strength returns with resting beneath that old tree
Where we see the rope of Judas hanging between the leaves
he is standing with us to remind us of where we've been and point always
forward, till the very end
Head Aches
Oh my head it aches tonight
But it don't match my hearts fight
I struggle with things deep inside
Sometimes wishing I could die
Other times I fight the fear
Of the loneliness I feel
But even when I feel the battles almost won
Something else enters before the day is done
I wonder why some are born
To face a life that seems tattered and torn
Who seek but for one simple thing
But the price must be more treasure then of kings
For the price of love must be high
For it's so very hard to find
Maybe love not so simple at all
For it means giving all
It means caring when hurt, sad or glad
Rather things are good or bad
It means forgiving no matter what the fault
It means standing together through it all
Love means helping each other when one falls
And being together while good times call
Love shows in the eyes...in words we say
And in tears we cry, every day,
It shows when
We come home to find the one we love is glad we are home,
To meet with a smile and a warm hug...
To feel a kiss filled with love
To have a head lay on your chest
And hear the gentle-breathing caress
Oh for that the price is high
But the rewards is worth the sky
I wonder why some can find
While others go a wandering by,
I've seen wives love a man
That was cruel and drunk and beat them
Why I cannot tell why
But love them and stand by there side
I seen men love their wives...
When all they got was strife
It seems to me that love would win
Life's game in the end
Oh my head how it hurts...
My heart feels broke and like a pile of dirt
I once thought I understood
I believed in love and its gentle touch
Now I find I'm lost and alone
I wander with out a home
No one holds me when I cry
No ones there to hear my joy or feel pride
I guess I'm not worth the task
Maybe my hearts just to black
I tried to be a good dad
To love my kids and treat them fair
I sought to try and please my wife
I served God all my life
Failures I surely had...
Sometimes I would get mad
Yet somehow I thought there was more
I thought that there was a strong cord
I believed that faith in god
And love were all we needed in life
Now it seems life is at an end
I stand alone like when a kid
I've lost the things that mattered most
Is there any real hope?
I pray for forgiveness from my friends
My family and those that I have been
A tree I once was tall and straight
But now I'm broken over with this weight
God forgives us but why not man
Instead they just steal what might have been
I wonder how much more
I can stand
With my back against the door
The thief he comes to steal
What is left of my will?
I'm growing weaker with the fight
Help me god help me tonight
Hooked on you
Hooked on you
is so cool
it's so nice to be hooked to you
The hook is deep
It's dug inside
to find the places I used to hide
From where I sit I feel it now
way down deep it got its start
straight in my heart
so hooked I'll stay
not for a day
but from now on I'll not stray
For I'm hooked in the spot
that matters most
does it not
Your kind smile
your humor
and still I'm just like
a fish caught on the spot
with that hook in my heart
if I could give to you
If I could give to you just one thing
it wouldn't be a diamond ring,
it would not be some new car,
or a dishwasher
It would not joy bring to give you a house like a queens
not a new dress
or fancy hat, perfume
or fancy underwear,
it would not be things made with hands
for those would not be worth much of anything
That I would give would mean much more
it would carry you forever more,
it would make you smile when you are sad
it would never make you mad,
No more tears would you shed
for you would know it was there
a song it would place in your heart
even when cold and dark,
It would lighten every load
no matter how heavy or cold
it bring such peace at last
better then friends that do not last,
It would be better then a rose
or some precious little stone
for what I would give could only come
from a heart that you had won
The cost would be great
but its not to late
for its free
but you can't make it out of yarn
if I could but just for today
I'd give it to you to stay
just to see you smile
and no you would keep it for a while
have guessed what this could be
That I would like to give to thee
Look at the word that comes
On top of life's uneven turns
Victory is yours
Even now its here in the last four lines of this puzzle and rhyme
If I fall
If I fall short today to show you in some special way
That you are so dear to me
And my life has been brightened with thee
Say a prayer that I might be reminded to not take your love or life for granted
If I fall short today to say a word to bring cheer your way
To make you smile
To make you laugh
To bring a song to your lips
Say a prayer for me for it was not intentionally
If I fail to say to you I love you and that you never make me blue
To offer my hand to help you up
Or give to you from my own cup
To meet your needs you have this day
Then say a prayer for me cause I'm very lost in my self
If I fail to make you glad
To make you happy when you're sad
To sing to you a joyous song
To hold you in my arms
Pray for me for that is what I need is someone that loves me
I met a friend
I met a friend
I knew it fast
For in her words you could tell
Her heart, her smile, her life
She was very tender as well
She made me smile
She made me laugh
She touched my heart
With things she said
She is smart
And that's a fact
But even more then that
She loves the lord
And all can see,
He's in her heart for all to see
She shares him in her life
And holds him to heart
She gives his grace to those she meets
And loves those she hasn't met
I think sometimes life is hard
And yet she pushes on for the Lord
Her family she holds near
For to her they are dear
When she seeks to stop
To turn from her lot
She finds someone else to give what she's got,
A little bit of cheer
It pulls her over the top
To make others smile
And cry not
So how could any?
Not draw near
To one like her
For there is no fear
She is a friend
One you can see
Who holds you up?
And though it seems
It is God who sent her to your dreams
Can't say I deserve to have one such as she
For she brings me such delight
But I thank God she's in life
In my heart
In my mind
And for endless time
Wondering
How does one stop and say
in so many different ways
the joy they find in you each day
the help you give along the way
Your love that is so true
there is no way to show
or express the love I have to bestow to you,
It is my nature to care for others
befriend them and care
but to love with all my heart
and to share my fear
no my dear 'tis not so
you no more right now then all but one has been
I ask myself why did I take a chance and tell so very much
it was because I trust your love that is all I got
I love you
Life's little boat
The little boat sailed out to sea
Oh how bright the sun
As it glistened off the waters sheen
No storms or danger near it loomed
The birds circled overhead
The clouds floated by in gentleness
And the sail waved goodbye
To any would cared or would glance as it went by
The little boat had only the course of its captain
Its crew made up solely of one
Its structure not of any great substance
Could it brave the weathering tides?
Wood and trigs floated by the sides of the little ship
And it sailed out in the deep waves
Its captain could be heard to yell mark twain
There was no paint on the ship
There was no name but the one given on its brow
In the simple lettering
Obscure from the world that cared not for the name
Or what it may have meant
Except for the captain, the owner the one man crew
Suddenly the rain began to pour
The little ship tossed it turned it rolled
The captain was in despair
It sailed out deeper and looked to be on a course for loss
The name could no longer be seen, smeared, or missing or covered by the waves
If a passerby had came bye they may have noticed safe on the shore
A small boy with a tear in his eye
Lightening flashed, rain poured,
Help came the cry from the captain and crew
Help came the cry from the boy who looked on
The voice came from the door of the house near bye
Come home,
The boy wanted to come out of the rain
But how could he leave with the little ship all but lost
Just when all hope seemed to be gone
When the wind was at its worse
And the storm was at its peak
A great hand reached out from the midst
And took the ship and lifted it to land
The tears became a smile
The captain in the little boy's mind let out a yell of glee
The crew knew it was a miracle a god after all
Again the boy heard the call
A voice spoke soft and friendly
You had better take your ship and run inside
Life is often like the boy whose dreams and hopes are placed in little ships
Ah how his imagination worked,
He could see the storm, feel the waves, hear the orders to the crew,
In the mind the pool in the road was the great ocean
The curb its sea port
I am not sure that man sees things always as they really are
We see things from the prescriptive way of our views
We see showers as storms
We see pain in small things
We lose loves and dreams because we refuse to see the threats of life's game
We cry at our loss before it's gone
Then when we could have stopped the damage we wait and dream
We hear the cries of pain and think they will heal themselves
We trust to love and forget the pain in the soul can blind the warmth of love,
We pray and cry and wonder why
Only 'tis not a game its life
If life was like the small boy's ship a hand could reach out and lift it to shore
But life though tossed bout by most imaginations and created full of fears and failures,
Not always is there a hand that reaches out and lifts our hearts,
Sometimes we are left to do on our own,
I cry out, sometimes I hear other voices cry out in the same way
And yet no one hears or they ignore and watches from the safety of there own little shores
Sometimes I think I'm that little ship,
Others I think I'm the little boy
On some occasions I have the blessing of being the hand
On occasions I'm the one that calls come home with out seeing the pain
I have found I have been the storm,
Wish I were always the sunshine
But more often then not the clouds seem to be my lot
Sometimes I feel the sadness of the storm
Others the peace of the cruise
Ah so much of life is hide and yet so much so open
If you could see into my heart
If you can read between the lines
If you know me well
If you care
If love were really there
Then you understand the true words of this story poem and story
Yet I wonder does it matter
Would you be the hand?
Could you be the storm?
Would you be the sunshine?
Or the uncaring voice in the distance
Would you feel any sorrow at all?
Or would you feel laughter
Then I wonder if I could rise from the pool
And see into the ocean of your making
Would I be so blind too?
Would I see sweet peace where storms abide?
Would I be so blind and deaf not to hear you cry
Would I know how to be the hand and lift you safely aside?
Could I save you or would I cause you to drown
Ah so what shall we do
What course should one take?
Should we stand on the bank and let tears fall
Should we just pray and place the blame on god
Should we turn and just walk off
Should we live in a house where it's safe and see no joy in placing the little boat in the seas
Should we spend our time being strong hands?
I thank god for the hands
And even some of the storms
For the ability to float though life
Yet I fear the night
I fear the storms
I hear the voice
But more then not
Feel the tears
Sometimes the peace of a slow easy ride
Life game is on all of us
I only wish the one that means most could see
The words and understand the need of hope
And yet I guess all captains' hope for the same for their boats
And all little boys seeing the storm wanted their boats saved
And the call was made wanting to save us from the rain
So what do we do?
Go on for another day
And continue to play
Till the boat is lost
Or the falls apart in decay
Or the little boy becomes a man and throws the boat aside
Money and Love
Money comes and money goes
Reminds me of a little rose
It its given lots of care
It will blossom and be there year after year
Love comes and it too can go
Just like that little rose
If its given lots of care
It with stands the seasons every year
Money if not used wisely
It will die and be gone without much warning
You will wonder where it went
Like a rose with out no sun light upon it,
Yet if given freely and little things come with it
If you give it with all your heart
And you nourish daylight and darkness,
It can blossom and grow
Love can last even when old
All it takes is a little work
Like the sunlight and water to the rose
If invested the interest paid
Is worth the labor from day to day
Love and money like a rose
Has a thorn or two on it grows
Yet it doesn't have to rob its beauty
If you watch out what you're doing
So my friend I say to you
Love is most valuable and too costly to lose
Invest in one who cares even if there are some thorns there
Let your money be spent with care, invest it in others if you will dare,
And if you have a rose or two keep it in the sunlight
And give it plenty of water too
The reward is when you are down
Your one you loved will still be found
Your money can buy you something new to help drive away the blues
And alone you can take the time to smile and smell that little rose bloom and dream away,
The moral is you see love is worth more then anything
And money is only good if used correctly and understood
And roses bring such delight if take the time to see the beauty and smell the smells of spring
I hope I have learned to do both right
To love and give joy of life
To take the time to give what I have,
Not to forget that joy I have found,
As I hold a rose, or watch it come from the ground.
And in you my investment is sure,
Money I've not but I have the thorns
Yet what I give I give to you my care in love
Morning, nite and noon,
I have lost some wonderful things
Because I didn't invest everything
I held back parts you see and the price was far to great,
Now I hope I have learned
I hope not to late,
That so like a rose I will run
My course with hopes and try to give all of me I have till the day is done.
Need a friend
Today I needed a friend
So to my computer I ran
I got on line in a flash
Thinking thank God friends at last
I punched the icon on the screen
To bring up my friends
As icq gave its beep
My list was empty and bleak
I started up my email then
For surely there I would find a friend
But to my despair not a line
Not a note from any tonight
My heart it sank
My mind it said no one cares
If you're alive or dead
I argued hard right back said
They're just busy with their life
But what about those that says,
You are there morning, nite and day
I tried to let it pass
But my heart grew cold as death
I saw the clock and waited,
Hoping just one would come on stay,
As none seemed to care I grabbed the pills that were near
My resolve to settle it all not to live,
Then I heard my wife and child-fighting bout what mattered not
I cried why couldn't you stop
The voice I heard in my head was saying end it no one cares
The bottle I opened the pills they came in to my palm,
With no pain I held them one and all
Sit on bed and no one called
Then as my last resolve, I began to take them all,
Then I heard a voice inside
Saying stop why tonight
I was here all alone
I'm the one that has never left you alone
I send no mail or never call
From a phone on the wall
I have no icq address
Nor no computer as of yet
But my love is here now,
Always if you would look around
Your mind it fights and screams
Till my voice is hid behind those dreams
The love I have is very real
I will be here with you
In your head
I'm in your heart
In your life, don't give up the time is not right
Just then the beep did sound
And as I looked around
A URL from a friend
Was of angels in the wind
So I fight on for another day
No battle will go away
But one day when day is done
I will be in my heavenly home
In the pages of time
There is a wind that unwinds
It carriers all the emotions of life
The pain the joy
The smiles the tears
It binds them in the ones we hold dear
We think we understand
Then we find
We are blind or deaf
To the things
We hold dear
For want
Or for fear
Time comes and goes at best
Leaving it mark
And unrest
Peace we seek
And want to find
But seek it in the pages of time
For some it comes fast and quick
Like an arrow it goes to the quick
But for others they cannot find
The answer in the pages of time
Our tears the flow like drops of rain
Because time has found some place
To open it arms and embrace
Our fears and pains it does unwind
And we pray for a close to the pages of time
Then a voice seems to say
Stop this, what you say
For time is in the master's hand
And peace and joy or at his command
So if u wait and do not despair
You will find I'm always there
So at last when the wind dies down
And you look though the pages as they unwind
You find some lessons though hard to bear
And you find God was there
If you hold true to him
He will open the pages for you
And your name will be entered there
In the pages of everlasting time
For his promise is so true
He really does love you
The Race
Just to win the race
He ran with all at there pace
He sometimes seemed to lag behind
But yet he kept in time
As he saw the finish line
His heart was pumping
He was first in line
Those near bye he couldn't see
But he knew he had their company
Harder and harder he would try
Just to be the one to cross that finish line
He saw nothing else he heard no noise
But the vision he allowed himself to be hold
It wasn't the race that means so much
Not the speed, Or the prize
Not even the Finnish line
It was the dream in his heart
The feelings that had made him start
He hated to not take the chance
For the dream was is substance
He had tried the dream before
But it was always shatters by some happenstance
But he still had to take the chance
So run he did with all his best,
Believing he would do more then past the test
If he fails to make the goal
No one to blame but his own soul
If the dream comes to be
It is not his victory
For God he knows is in control
The race
The dream
And the goal
So win or fail its all the same
The price in is in the game
For his own soul
Is bound you see
To the essence of the dream
He wants to stop and end this thing
But God has chosen this man's dream
Yet he wants to win the dream
He is scared and often torn
He aches and hurts for the chore
But the dream is worth the price
The race
The run
The gift of life...
A Smile
A smile upon my face
tells the world I'm happy and blessed
and each day though it may rain
you bring that sunshine my way
And with your words of sweet refrain
it brings that smile to my face
so no matter what I do
you are important to me too
A smile can cheer others too
so see what your words can do
it may just help someone else
as much as it helps myself
For though I'm not much to see
when I smile the world can see
something warm is going on in side
and it's partly because of those like you that I do not cry
So don't forget me today
and keep that smile on my face
you make me laugh
when I would otherwise cry
you bring me joy to my life
You remind me God is always here
and that you some how care
so smile I do though far away
because you bring it to my face
To be a Tree
To see a tree
and how it grows
to watch it when the wind blows
to see it bend but not break
teaches us the path to take
To see it grow from winter's touch
to bear a leaf
and maybe a plum
it gives it shade from the sun
and yet its branches reach upward
To shield some one from the rain
and yet it goes day after day
birds they make there nest
gentle in the leaf caress
And from their branch do sing
and welcome us into spring
its bark grows hard and dark
to cover it inward heart
The roots grow deep
and touch the spring
of lives giving water from the ground so deep
And so the tree
with all it cares
it grows from year to year
it stands to prove that ever test
it can take sunshine and storms and all the rest
If we could learn to be like a tree
life would have more harmony
reach our arms to the sky
take the sunshine with a sigh
Reach our arms round theses distressed
And shield them from rains cold blast,
drink from the stream that don't run dry
let those we love live in our hearts inside
Listen with our ears for beautiful songs
build homes neat and warm
remember for who we were when born
the creator who gave us form
What you mean to me
When the world goes spinning round
and I can hear no sweet sounds
my life is drab and full of fear
then you come very near
My heart it beats at a new pace
and I find a smile on my face
suddenly the world stops
and I began to hear new sounds
the birds they sing
and bells do ring
for a friend like you
Somehow your words give me hope
and though I was lost
you found me anyway and gave me hope
you bring new joy into my heart
and with that thread
a life that shines with new scopes
I can not wait to hear from you
to know you are there
takes away my glum
deep inside the rock in me
a explosion is caused,
cause of thee
it breaks away that old stone
and leaves in place
tenderness in its grave
I can't recall when in time
anyone touched this heart of mine
but you have somehow found the place
to make me a smile on my face
You mean so much to me
a friend is one that is indeed
thank you for the time you spend
the hours you pray and then
The calls you make to brighten my day
the cards you send my way
I can not put in words all you mean
just no it life you bring
The Old Tree
The tree it stood so strong and tall
the limbs forked out strong as could be
giving comfort for all to see.
It leaves green and full he gave shade to one and all,
people which would journey by noticed the tree as it stood so tall,
the shade it gave never died even in the coldest fall,
It leaves remained for one and all,
The tree in all its glory knew inside it wasn't its best,
he knew he could do more
summer spring winter or fall
he never seemed to need rest
but yet he wasn't at his best
All the other trees you see
were not like he
for there's were not the same philosophy as he
He loved to do all he could to give his shade
and do some good;
to rest would be a waste
when from God he'd been so blessed
Though all this was true he was very lonely too
no one else could see his hurt and misery,
One would thank with all his good
after all he was just wood
But a heart he had though he smiled
he was always very sad
He was cold inside and never really glad
Then one day in the spring
A new thing happened
That was so keen
For it brought him to new life
And sadness left
The cold was gone
And now he had a new song to sing,
His leaves become glossy green
His limbs reached to farther still
And the bark seemed to smile
His heart leaped and all who saw
Didn't recognize the old tree at all
For on his branch
In the crook
Was a nest?
And a littlebird
Oh she was the thing that had made his life a dream
She sang her songs
Never dull and wrapped herself in his love
When the winds would blow
He would shelter her from the cold,
When the heat came on down
He would cover her with his grown
The shade he gave
Could not compare to
All that she gave unaware
With each song he found new strength
And with each week
He loved her more then words could speak
But did she see
Was he just a tree?
A place for rest and quiet company
Would she leave and break his heart
Or would she stay and never part
For a time the tree was enough
The littlebird was content and free
To dream of her own philosophy
Then one day with out a hint
She flew away
He could see her in the trees
But she was gone from his knee
He called her name in ever dream
He waved at her and tried to scream
She saw it as insult true and
Just turned and flew
Days then months had passed by
The tree looked like it would die
The leaves were gone
The bark weeps and fades away,
Even the loneliness was gone
Replaced by pain and forlorn
Nothing he could say or do would bring her back
And the hurt wast there to stay it just wouldn't go away
He wished for the woodcutter's ax
Or a fire or a flood
Or draught anything that would take him out
just bout then the littlebird came by
To talk to one near bye
The wise old owl
Without any glee
Shook his head and then began to plead
Why said the littlebird to him
Is the tree so very dim?
What has caused him to die?
And loose the leaves
And sweet Shi in the nite
The owl oh so grim he looked straight at her
Its you for who the tree yearns
For you were his bread and meat
He gave you all the heart he had
When you left
you left him to die,
With no happiness don't you see,
Oh my she chimed
I never knew how much I meant to him,
I loved him didn't he know,
I sang for him when it was cold,
I gave him all I had to give,
And then one day I had to leave
I had other business you see
I have built a home close bye
I didn't know he would cry
Can I save the tree that means so much?
Or is it lost from my touch
Can I new life to him bring
Of course cried the owl.
He loves you still and waits to do your will
to the tree she flew
And landed as she used to do
A song she sung to his delight
And life he felt in the nite
His limbs lost there dip
And his bark new life did seep
The leaves they turned to green
And he was more beautiful then before it seemed,
For he found love once more
I can't stay she told to him
I know was the words so grim,
But I shall return each day to sing to you in our special way
I'll love you always he declared,
I know I know you will dear
You can hold me in your arms and I'll share with you all my charms,
But you can't have me here
But you will be my tree dear
And I shall never leave you blue
You mean so much too me too,
So the tree it stands tall and
The bird sings for all
If u walk though that wood
you will find them well and good
Who are the trees in your life?
And are you the bird that gives them life
Take care of both you see
For others are counting on thee
If you're the tree then don't give up
Maybe the bird will be there by lunch,
and sing a song that will never die
for the tree for all time
If you're the bird don't despair
Just give the tree your loving care
The wind
Today the wind is blowing
its gentle voice is heard
it tells of ones that are far away
it tells of the you so dear
It whispers when you are scared
or happy in some place
it brings a cool breeze up on my face
and the fragrance of time and space
It causes me to think of you
and the things you say and do
the walks beside the lake
or some gentle pool
The times you hike up a hill
or walk in some wood
I think of the words you say
when happy, snug and warm
It lets me picture what you might just now do
maybe you are combing your hair
or trying on some shoes
I smell the smell of flowers
Which I know you love too
and the wind plants a picture
of you and a peaceful dove
I can dream of what the roses are in your hand
I can dream of the forest green where you stand
so blow ole mighty wind
and bring me some cheer
for in your breeze you bring
dreams for the year
Thinking of you
I was thinking of you tonight
I was thinking of you at daylight
my thoughts were on your sweet smile
was wondering if you were missing me too
Thinking of your embrace
and the thought for me you make
I was wondering what you are doing
if your wondering of me too
Thinking is this your busy time
wishing you were here at with me
guessing how your hair must look
watching your face as you read a book
Listening to your voice
thinking it's not soft or loud
I was thinking of you today and all the things you say
feeling your love in my heart
Hoping you feel the way I do
wishing I were there with you
as the day goes passing by
and I wonder why
I'm thinking of you even now
Instead of being with you to stay...
then I realize work I must do
so I will just have to go on thinking of you.
Thinking of You ToNight
Thinking of you in my dreams
Thinking about you
my arms around you
that is all I want to do
my lips to your lips
dreaming bout you is all I ever do.
Watching you in your chair
mending the old clown
you had as a girl
seeing your eyes shine
as I walk bye
makes me glad I'll be by your side,
Thinking about you
my arms around you
that is all I want to do
my lips to your lips
dreaming bout you are all I ever do.
Touching your hair so bright
seeing you smile
makes my life worth while,
seeing your eyes glow
and knowing you know how much I love you,
Thinking about you
my arms around you
that is all I want to do
my lips to your lips
dreaming bout you is all I ever do.
Seeing you cooking
watching you walking
makes my heart go zoom,
wanting to take you in my arms
and make love to you
thinking about you
my arms around you
that is all I want to do
my lips to your lips
dreaming bout you is all I ever do...
My life has made a change
since the day you came
I find such new joy
I don't want to lose you
I just want to be with you everyday
thinking about you
my arms around you
that is all I want to do,
my lips to your lips
dreaming bout you is all I ever do.
Time
The clock is always ticking
as time goes swiftly by
it don't stop to listen
to children while they cry
It notices not lost lovers
or hears the bleating cry
of broken hearts of the wounded
or men bout to die
It stops not for the tornadoes
or the storms that pass bye
it just goes on ticking
till the day we die
It robs our yesterdays
and the past we cannot change
it promise us nothing
not a hour nor a day
And if we are missed at some church
or party or by a friend
it doesn't really matter
cause it just goes tick right on by
Time is with out feeling
no remorse or pain
it knows not the summer
or the winters reign
It hears no voice of wonder
it heals no broken hearts
its medicine is just ticking
as it goes on its beat
Time is so precious
for it can not stop
so if use it wisely
or even if not
it cares not bout our worries
or if we cry
it doesn't laugh with us
or sing us melody
Time is passing
can you feel it go by
my hair is getting grayer
and the gleam out of my eye
Even with my passing
time won't miss a beat
it will go on laughing
at my retreat
Time is passing onward
it never goes behind
what will we do with this moment
laugh or cry
will we love someone now
or let it pass us by
Will we help some stranger
or will they help you
will live in peace
or war in our lands
To time it won't matter
to you only my friend
can the time make a difference
in this life, only you can chose
Cause time is going by,
Tomorrow
For today or tomorrow
there will be sunshine and sorrow
but you know there is no fear
for God is always there
He gives you rain to wash away sorrow
and sunshine to dry you till tomorrow
and a friend that really cares
one who is always here
So if tomorrow brings gloom
my prayer and love along with him is there
and if you find it bright and gay
my laugh and his smile isn't far away
Two Hearts
Two hearts so broke
and yet so strong
right here is where they belong
To understand and know
the pain that loneliness
can give
these two hearts shall have
a home in friendship
Now to live
time moves on and at last
this friendship is so strong
that no one can break the
ties that bind
your heart to mine
Wish you were here
Just a line to say
I'm thinking of you today
wish you were here instead
of being over there,
So far away,
We could sit around and talk
or even take a little walk
maybe sing a song
or go for a drive
whatever would be it would be like a picnic in the park
my mind would be free
from all its care
just because you would be there.
With me,
As the Day Goes By
Sometimes as the day goes whizzing bye
We don't take the time to cry
We don't let our feelings go
And yet the urge is in our soul
Sometime as the day goes bye
We don't stop to open our eyes
To see the things in our midst
To see the people whom in our lives have blessed
Sometimes as the day goes bye
We don't take the time to smile
Our feelings are lost in us deep inside
So we let life go sailing bye
Sometimes as the day goes bye
We for get to thank the one's we love
And the stranger for some deed done
And so we miss the glee that comes
From bringing joy to someone
Sometimes as the day goes bye
We take not the time to reason inside
For if we did things would not seem
So dark and bland in-between
Sometimes as the day goes bye
We forget to worship God
And thus we do not pray
Sing his songs of praise
And we miss his comforting hand
And only me can I blame
Sometimes as the day goes bye
We don't see our wife
Our child, husband or son,
And thus we miss the things we should see,
That brings joy and peace
Sometimes as the day goes bye
Take some time to look inside
And see if by some happen chance
You have let too much of life pass
Take the time to make the change
And enjoy all God Brings
I Was
I once was a house
All neat and trim
Now I'm just an old shed
Worn and dim,
I once was a tree
Strong and brave,
Now I'm a old and dying
Limbs gone empty,
I once was a song
With a peaceful tune,
Now I'm just notes
No music just gloom
Once I was loved
And rejoiced in the bloom,
Now I feel hopeless
And with out a friend to cling too,
Once I smiled often,
Laughter was my name,
Now it's mostly sadness,
Since you went away,
Once my heart was filled with dreams,
I just knew would come true,
Now my heart if filled with fears,
Loneliness and doom,
Once I clung to nothing
But faith in god above,
Now I have no faith,
All I want is love
Passion
Passion like a river flows,
From the depths of one soul,
Taking curves and lethal woes,
It washes though ever flows,
Some think passion is love,
When it's only a fruit there of,
Yet it brings such height,
And caresses us with delight,
Some would settle for its warm embrace
Others no it with out love is just waste,
I would seek to have both you see,
Both the river and breeze,
When love drives passions wild,
And two are lost in the currants clouds,
Then the hopes of life are met,
And their joy is truly content,
Passion gone oh how sore the soul,
It's like a dry well
Or empty stove,
Love is just a passing plea,
For to make love work passion must be.
So embrace it with your soul
Love will let your passion grow,
And passion with out loves guiding hand,
Will leave you broke and empty and grim,
Look to the river as it flows,
See it caries its treasures untold,
Let your love open up,
And let passions regain the sweet cup,
Passion and love what a pair,
It can win any battle if it dare,
It can make a young man old,
Or old men young and steal a woman's soul,
Would you have love and be blind,
Or have passion and love's sweetest wine,
To be married is to give your soul
And that means passion and love is your gold
You Can Tell
You can tell a tree by its limbs,
Yet you can not see how many scars the bark hides,
You cannot guess how many winds it has with stood,
How many stars it watched go by,
You can know how many birds sit on its arms,
Or how many songs have been sung,
Or how it misses its leaves,
Or suffers when the cold wind blows its breeze,
You can not know of the tales it holds,
Or how very alone and old,
Yet for any eye to see you can tell its a tree,
You can tell a ocean by its size and salt,
Yet beneath the waves there is much of ought,
You can not know how many fish live there,
How many bodies are burred somewhere,
How ships have sailed and sunk,
Of gold lost in the muck,
Or of the nights that passes it by,
When it wishes it were the skies,
You can not guess the things of time,
Of pirates, gunship, and curse lines,
Or count the seashells it leaves on the beach,
Can you hear it song while you sleep?
Yet the ocean true as can be,
Is always there to welcome you and me,
And if we could look beneath the swell,
I wonder what all it would tell,
You can tell a river wide, by its vast and rolling size,
But you can not guess of boys who sailed on it crest at midnight's wail,
You can not know of the deep dark holes buried there like a lost soul,
Of Indians or wise men who crossed to see what was on the other side to see,
You can't count the barges that have floated,
Or war ships in times of old,
And maybe gamblers on boats untold,
Those floated down like some peaceful snow, to search the river to find hope,
You can tell a woman by the way body is honed,
But you can't tell what's in her soul,
You can no the nights she was alone,
The dreams she had till morning sun,
You can not know of the love that's been felt,
Or even worse the pain that is left,
You can not see the emotions that's buried deep within,
Or no what ugliness lies beneath the beauty fair waiting for someone unaware,
Or yet the touch gentle and sweet, and true beauty from the deep,
Of happiness and smiles
Or the tears shed for awhile,
You can tell a man with such ease,
But can you see what's beneath,
How he stands alone,
Sometimes weak sometimes strong,
Can you see the love he holds?
To the pains that make him old,
How it is to work your whole life though,
Not for oneself but for a family true,
You can not see the scars or joys,
Hidden behind some dark glass,
All you see is what is let go,
If only you could see the longing of his soul,
You can tell love when its truly found,
Not by the things that are around,
Not by the way the wind blows,
Or by some word easily spoke,
You see it like some morning star,
It shines from the heart though the open eye's door,
You feel it in the way words spoke,
By little things done consistent without being told,
You see by unyielding desire to be together with passion and fire,
Where nothing can hold back to loves that meet,
They will walk in desert heat; they will die for the others goal,
It can be felt radiating from there souls.
One who loves never hides the one that has won their desire,
They hold it out for all to see, proud and happy as can be,
They like the tree offer shelter to meet the needs,
They like the ocean, washes away in time, all the pain and hurt inside,
And like a river strong and true, carry's their love beyond the blue,
Life has many mistaken woes, dreams and false happiness we are told,
But when love finally appears,
Joy and peace and wanting there,
Nothing will do find the gold, have the treasure to hold, fights the sharks in the sea, conquer pirates, and gamble you see,
For the price is worth it all,
If you win love all in all
To be one is not to be alone, or harbor a lost and lonesome soul,
So my friend I'm asking you,
What is it you find in the day too,
Is it love or something else?
Will it carry you to highest branch?
If it means the world to you,
Then why are you both lonesome and blue?
If trees can take the storm,
If oceans last and never worn,
If rivers run wild and free,
Why are things like they appear to be?
What Makes Us Stand
What makes us stand together?
Even when we both are not always hand in hand,
What keeps our love so real?
Even when we hurt each other,
What lets us face another day?
When I would give up in most ways,
How can you love such an old fool?
How can I love a blond like you?
What is it that makes your eyes shine?
Is it the stardust inside?
I don't know except in one way to say,
Our love for each other is the power to stay,
What Binds Us
What binds us together?
Is it love?
Or is it just strong emotions,
Or the stars above,
Is it money, jewels or such?
Is it beauty, just vain looks?
Is it love of reading,
Or singing of songs,
Lusts for flesh that lasts all night long.
Is it dreams or hopes?
Or promises made,
I pray its love,
For nothing else will last out the winter's day.
Little Boat
Like a little boat tossed on the sea,
It wonders why it drifts,
It feels anger,
It feels hurt that won't let it go,
It feels lost,
Why don't any one want it,
It never was loved,
Maybe it was its size,
Or maybe the paint was wrong,
Now it's just old and alone
On a big open sea,
Why won't anyone make it there own?
Someone found it once
Said they love it
Cherished it,
Made it feel so special,
Then one day they cast it back,
Now it just wants to sink,
Who can want this little boat?
So it floats all alone,
Will in one ever take it home?
Thoughts
I wish not to hurt you with my thoughts
Are words from my mouth that are wrought,
I wish not to be a fool either you see,
And not see what is right in front of me,
I question the whys
Where maybe I shouldn't,
All I know it's always an excuse and nothing happens,
We talk for hours and I make my plea,
You say you truly love only me,
Yet no matter what comes along,
You find ways to move to a new home,
You buy furniture, books and things,
And you can't find a way to even come now and again,
You find ways of doing all seems important to thee,
Why should I not see that I mean little to thee?
It's easy to point to others and see the questions there,
But look in the looking glass and see what is there,
I'm sick of hurting you and me both,
I ask for too things of which I have spoke.
To love me with all your heart should and mind,
Come to me now if you will be mine,
Or say its over and go on with your life,
Time to telling me excuse, of which I am sick to hear,
Time to start doing more then saying I am dear,
I have offered you nothing but that which I have,
My heart and soul is all that I can give,
But if you toy with it and treat so vain,
You will lose it and it will never be here again.
Time to find ways to do this thing,
You can find them for every thing else you want to do,
So I question is this something you really want to do.
The Silence
The silence is dreading,
Not a sound in the air,
Not even the neighbors are stirring,
Not even a wind blowing,
Just quiet no sound,
I lay my head down to sleep,
The loneliness is too hard to bear,
I wish there were someone beside me to hold me near,
The someone I dream of,
Of someone my thought go to,
Is the only one that means any thing?
And it could be only you
What Would Life Be Without You
What would life be without you in it?
A empty day
Only night without stars to light the way,
Days would be unbearable,
Nights with out end,
Happiness would be lost,
And birds wouldn't sing,
My heart would be empty,
My eyes dried from no more tears,
My life would be empty
I would be lost before my years,
Dreams would be nightmares
Clouds would be all around,
Trees would not give fruit,
And roses wouldn't grow,
There would be no sunshine,
No smile on my face,
There could be no laughter,
I have lost the race.
My mind would crumble,
My pain more then I could bear,
There would be nothing, but sorrow and lifelessness here,
I wouldn't no when a new day started or its end,
There would be no season,
Only deserts within,
So stay and love me,
Always be my wife,
Come and be with me,
Please give me life,
For with out you,
There is no life you see,
All is just empty,
Like I am with out thee
A Sea Of Peace
A sea of peace someone said,
A sea of peace what can it be where can it be fed,
I think we all seek that sea,
And if it's found it has to be,
Deep with in our hearts and souls,
Filled not with water as sea's of old,
But filled within by something more,
That lasts beyond the stars above,
Something that conquers lost souls,
The brings hearts close
And near as one fold,
Something that drives away all fear,
Can conquer doubt and eternal fear,
The thing that has to fill that sea,
Is something that gives strength to the weak?
It makes us do what we might not otherwise do,
Cross over roads that far and few,
Drives us wild when not near,
Can't wait to hear a soft voice in our ear,
The sea of peace can only lie
In the deepest part of our chest all right,
It can turn tears to joy,
That within it can make a new chord,
And its worth walking miles on our own,
Leaving behind all we have known,
I wonder why many never find that sea,
Except to find it empty indeed,
When it can be full and brimming near,
If only you will let love fill it with in,
And then follow love instead of the mind,
Follow it till you drink its wine,
Then the sea will be full and pure
And peace will be with in you and me
Funny Games We Play
Funny the games life play,
Why are we not laughing?
If it's funny in everywhere,
I look in the mirror I see the lines of time,
I feel the broken spirit of my life that's past its prime,
I see the lines that have grown on my face,
And no that I'm old, and really have no place,
I remember the things I once accomplished,
The respect and dignity I once carried,
Now I see life's game has stolen them all away,
I didn't look so old when I met you on that day,
Oh how far away is that May,
I had a smile woven in my heart,
And for once my joy was total and complete,
As our hands locked into each others,
Your personality was given away by the way your fingers locked
You tried to take the controlling way until my fingers took back their spot,
Funny how life's game has played,
You one day came to tell me to stay,
And all the past meant nothing and newness began,
But then the hand of death entered as you walked away,
Funny how life's game plays,
I thought I had many friends till the one I had given my life to moved away,
Then I found none stood till I met you, then I found the best friend I had ever knew,
Then you to left me to grow old and my heart melts away,
Always with a promise, that we will win life's game,
Funny how life's game is played,
I wonder if you will come till the end,
Or if you will leave me along to face death stilly hand,
Will you cry because you loved me?
Or life's game beat you, I only know if you lose me,
None will love you like I do and can,
For they will never have played the game like we have
What a Pity
What a pity to day
Leaves us so far away,
And yet so very near,
Why can't the wind blow you home?
Or bring me to you to stay,
Like a tumbling weed
My soul is tossed,
Alone in the drought,
All I have is a dream and hope
Of holding you
And your love being real,
What a pity you can't feel my touch,
Or see the look in my eye,
Or here me wake up to whisper I love you,
Or feel my loving arms,
What a pity
To day finds us alone,
In some darker ways then before,
When we should be sitting together in our rooms,
Eating breakfast,
And talking of where we are going, or what to do
Just while awaking the hours,
But instead you are there,
And I am here,
And all we have is a phone and a few words between us,
It's better then nothing,
But not near enough,
To fill my heart with gladness,
I need you
I need your love,
I need to hear your laughter,
I need to feel your touch,
And I love you like no other
If I Could
If I could I would,
Make you always smile,
Give you a laugh even when down,
Hold you tenderly till we die of old age,
Kiss you lovingly everyday,
Buy you roses that would never fade,
Give you joy everyday,
Sing you love songs into the night,
Be your shelter from the storms of night,
Take your pain and suffering and vanish it as dust,
Even wash your dirty underwear,
If I could I would do anything
To make you the happiest girl in this life's spring,
Little Dove Tears
As the morning light appeared,
I could hear the little doves cry,
I looked to see it close by,
And I could see the tear from its eye,
I wondered if it cried as I,
For a life quickly passing by,
If it cried from loneliness,
As I often have done through out the past,
I wondered if the tears were from pain,
Of some wound or damaged wing,
Just like me the tears of pain,
Oh how the Dove my heart sad,
Then I listened closer, instead,
Could the tear be from her well?
Crying for a love that is far away,
Or could it be of joy for she would see him this day.
The Old Tape
To night I found a old tape,
As I began to listen
I heard voices of the past
And yet shall all ways be present,
I heard my mom's voice,
Ring out in gentle song,
Singing the songs she so often song,
Over the years as I have grown,
I heard the harmony
As her voice mixed with my dad,
And oh how I miss her,
It made my heart so sad,
Even amongst the songs
Was one we all sang long ago?
I didn't even remember us be taped as we sung our song,
And yet I heard her alto,
As she sung the second part,
My mind drifted back to how often her voice would ring out,
I remember the joy when someone would give her praise,
How someone once told her she was the best sir alto of the day,
I remember her tears,
As some songs would touch her heart,
As she would sing of praying,
Or her mother who had already left us in the dark,
I remember as she sang,
"How sweet and happy seem those days of which I dream",
And now I know she nestled in a land of endless spring,
I remember as a boy oh so long ago,
She would sing we me as we walked to the store,
Mom never talked of her talents,
Of which she had many to bestow,
But she was always by dad's side,
As off to church he would go,
And when it came time,
And heads would turn their way,
He would pick up that old guitar,
And she would be on her way,
"In the sweet by and by"
Or that old country church,
Or if she could sing and not cry,
It might be, dust on the bible,
As she wiped her tears from her eye,
I can see her standing as she did so long ago,
Always on dads right to sing some Old Faithful song,
And when he would forget a line,
Her voice would stand out a lone,
To bring it back to him as onward they would go,
Oh how my heart aches,
And yet finds joy too,
For someday,
We all shall sing anew,
There won't be any bitter tears,
No sorrows will our mind dift too,
But we shall sing in that place,
Oh how I love Jesus,
And praying we won't have to do,
Seems like I see her in the red dress she often wore,
Standing beside his throne,
Singing up a galore,
And I wonder if the child she has in her hand,
Is the one lost and has gone on,
Or if that's not our little Ashley standing tugging on dress cord,
I guess she already knows,
She is missed here below,
But get ready mom,
Someday we will all be there,
And our family can join around,
As dad and mark pick out the tune,
And we can sing the circle isn't broken,
And there won't be any glum,
Grandma can play her French harp or a piano too,
Grandpa can sit and listen with eyes shinning too,
We will all lift our voice,
In some new tune,
But till we get there,
Don't stop singing,
God loves you too
Do Dreams Come True
Do dreams become reality?
The answer is unknown,
Sometimes they do of this I'm sure,
For I found you,
When I was small I dreamed of not being alone,
Of being held in loving arms,
I dreamed of someone smiling just because I was there,
I knew they really cared,
I dreamed of eyes oh so blue,
Smiling and laughing as she hummed a tune,
I dreamed of hair, like gold, soft and sweet smelling, the touch of gold,
I dreamed of a voice with tenderness,
One that would make my heart beat fast,
I dreamed of a face so round and smooth, with skin so soft and full of love too,
I dreamed of feeling complete joy, happiness, and longing for just a minute more,
And you see then you came along,
My dream was real; it wasn't just words of a song,
Then my dream was snatched away,
And my days are just a painful haze,
I found the joy I had known, gone and left me all alone,
Now I dream again,
Though different, yet some parts hand in hand,
Both were of you giving me up,
Not ever coming back, not feeling your touch,
I'm scared and maybe that's all the dreams are,
All I know is I love you and miss you more each day dear,
I would rather close my eyes and drift away,
Then live one more day with you away.
As I Go To Bed
As I go to bed,
Before I rest my head,
My thought to you do turn,
How I love and miss you,
How your smile brightens my day,
And when I'm down you lift me up in someway,
I know the load I am,
Sometimes it's more then you bear,
I know deep inside,
How much you love me,
You're my wife,
Sometimes I forget,
But then I hear it from your lips,
You try to understand and not get mad,
You try to look past my bad,
You see something others didn't want,
I know I'm not worthy of your sweet touch,
So I'll close my eyes and pray,
God hurry bring home to me today,
I guess he don't hear,
But maybe he dose cause you still love me dear,
I love you touch,
Your body is mine,
To make love to you is like the world's greatest joy is all mine,
To see your face when you fly,
Oh how I miss you tonight,
To watch you sleep like a child,
Your face your beauty its so alive and wild,
To lay my head on your breast,
To listen to your heart beat beneath my head,
To hold your hand in mine,
Feel those short fingers lock and entwine,
To feel the talent they process,
How gifted and blest,
And to think God sent you my way,
My angel, my baby, I love you in so many ways,
I Wonder
I wonder sometimes is you know how much I love you,
I wonder if you know my life is wrapped around you,
I wonder if you understand there's not a moment that goes by that I'm not thinking of you,
I wonder if you know that if you don't make it and God takes you that I'm going with you.
I wonder if you see the tears I cry cause your not with me,
I wonder if you realize what you think is anger is more often fear or pain of being apart,
I wonder if you know you are the one thing more precious then gold, more costly then diamonds,
I wonder if you see how much I adore you and recognize how wonderful you are,
I wonder if you can tell how happy I am to have you in my life every moment,
I wonder if you can feel my love even if my words are bitter,
I wonder how often I fail you
I wonder if I can ever be worthy of you are your love
I wonder if I have hurt you so much you can never heal
I wonder if you my wife will ever be here with me,
I wonder if I could do more to show I love you
I try my best to answer the I wonders and do my best to love you more
Alone
He sit in a lonely room, lights turned off,
looking to see what was in the dark,
trying to feel some ghostly hand,
wishing for anything that would bring feeling,
locked in his mind just as the room,
feeling lost, alone, and doomed,
wishing to hear the phone ring,
to hear her voice, hear her sing,
she left him to make it as best he could,
left him with nothing but a few things to remind him of having once stood,
in the room now empty and cold,
him alone, and thoughts grown old,
he longed to feel her heat as once before,
but all he could see is a closed door,
the reasons are good for her not returning,
and he knows its his own discerning,
he is mean, often cold, hurt so much his scars wound others souls,
he is guilty of loving with all he had,
to be left alone cold and sad,
maybe there is hope,
he wants to believe,
he looks at the dark and wants to see,
ships had light houses,
he has ghosts,
ships were guided to shore,
he is lost,
all he longed for was just one to stand,
to love him more then any man,
to come to him and pay the price,
to stand with him in the night,
yet he sees in the dark,
from the day he was born he was lost,
for his world made up darkness and gloom.
He has been lonely except for a noon.
He is expected to stand,
how can he stand? He is just a man,
how can he fight the ghosts of the night,
when no one is there to turn on the light.
So he stares as often before,
wishing someone would come thought the door,
though arms around him and hold him near,
say they loved him because he was just there.
So he hears the night wind blow,
he feels he has lost his soul,
he wonders is she is thinking of him far away,
realizes if she was she would call and say,
I love you
Will It Ever Die
Will it ever die?
I say no, how can it when my love is deeper then the ocean,
Bonded deeper in my soul then the deepest well,
Will I ever run away?
How can I run when I am lost with out you love and devotion,
How can a blind man find the path that is hidden by snow?
Will I ever cry?
Each time I think of you, your love, your faith, your staying, your being apart, yet not all tears are of sorrow
Many are tears of love, endearment, of passion, of joy and hope, and spring up even when I am in hell.
Will I ever fail?
How can I not fail, for I have failed often, I'm but a human in love with a Goddess, a mere man of thoughts and pains and old scars which open to old wounds deep inside, but I shall never fail to love you, want you, hold you, adore you, dream of you and most of all I shall never fail to say and show I love you in little things,
Will I be different then your past?
I am different one of a kind, the good and bad all wrapped up inside, yet different then your past for the reason I love you like no one else can, not even a mother can love like I love you, its more then the love a husband has for a wife, more then men have for God, my love is me, and you are me.
Will we live happily?
I have to believe we will or I would cease to exist, I would never bring you to me if I didn't believe you would find joy and peace in my arms, though we may have to work, sweat, suffer, our love will be happy for we have each other to cling to, its not having you to hold that draws me to the chains of hell.
Can I Reason Why
Can I reason why,
when the day is night,
when the sky won't give light,
how can I reason why?
Can I reason why,
with a heart that breaks inside,
to reason something is for the best,
when the pain is worse then death.
Can I reason why,
I wake at night to cry,
when I feel so alone,
it feels like darkness of a tomb,
Can I reason why,
when my girl I love is not by my side,
but sits in the room with her old flame,
even if to him its no gain,
Can I reason why,
when my love is like a reaching sky,
it reaches to her even through the gloom,
it brings a breeze of love in its soft tune,
Can I reason why,
when obstacles seem to litter the road,
and she finds more reasons not to be home,
then my mind does sigh,
is home here or by his side,
Can I reason why,
she fights for causes that mean little
but won't fight for what God has given,
will she ever be at my side,
I have to believe it or else I would die,
Can I reason why,
my pain causes her to cry,
when in fact my pain and joy
is wrapped in her every word,
yet the weight it makes me feel, how can I be happy and have a live to will.
Can I reason why,
all her faith and smiles
bring me joy and peace inside,
even when hurting I want by her side,
she is all the reasons of my life,
My Heart Is Lonely
Now I go to lie down to sleep,
My heart is lonely,
My heart leaps,
I can't wait to have you home,
To be happy,
Not alone,
I miss your kiss
Your embrace,
I miss you in so many ways,
So sleep won't come easy,
And life gets hard,
But I'll love you forever
So don't be alarmed
So Quick
So quick we do forget,
The things we love
The things that were meant,
We forget a babies cry,
We forget loved ones, who have gone by,
We forget those that stood and prayed,
Helped us face each new day,
We forget the promises made,
Of the things we meant that day,
And some things never forgot,
The memories is always clear,
So you will always be here
More Then a Friend
We are more then a friend,
We are a beginning and an end,
We are the start of life
And will be together till we die,
We are more then friends,
We are dreams that never end,
We are the songs of lovers in the night,
We are bird's melody at day light,
We are more then friends
We are time passing with out blend,
We are the joy of life
We are loves bright light,
We are more then friends,
We are each other and then,
We are one in all we do
And I'll always love you
What is a Word?
What is in a word?
Sometimes it shows the thoughts,
Sometimes it shows love hidden in the heart,
Often it shows pain wielded deep with in,
Sometimes it is just anger that has found a friend,
What is a word?
It stand for something
Often means nothing,
And can be everything,
What can a word do?
It can comfort,
It can help,
It drive away the devils,
It can make one feel,
It describes,
It paints a picture in our minds,
It cause heart to bleed, rejoice and sometimes causes feelings to decease,
I have a word,
We all have words,
Many to often spoke,
Some mean more then they should,
Some never mean enough,
I have a word its simple yet complex,
It more then just a word of friendship,
It says more then many and yet has few letters,
It's said often
But no actions follow,
Funny it stands on a fine line; its count is the same as hate,
But means just the opposite,
And contains more meaning and feeling then there earth holds grain,
My word
Is
Love
Time
In the length of the day,
As time goes slipping by,
I find my mind in closed
Thinking of my one real life,
I think of her soft golden hair,
I think of her laugh,
I think of her soft embrace,
Her warm and gentle touch,
I think of the time we spend
Making love though the hours,
And of how much I miss her,
As time goes flowing by,
I dream of a time,
When I know she will always be there,
I dream of knowing I can touch her hand in prayer,
I dream of a time,
When our love will circle all we do,
When our thoughts are wrapped in each other in every thing we do,
I dream of the days when I'll wake by her side,
I dream of a life where its our time slipping by.
Seems I have lost so much,
So many hours of joy,
So much time has gone
I can't get back or harbor,
Time to hold her near,
Time I should have been at her side,
Time of making love
Time of talking, laughing and tears,
All that is gone is past,
Time that slipped away,
I pray that no more time
Will rob me from her today,
That somehow she will find a way,
To make me as she is to me,
First in her life,
And that time would be complete,
I love her in so many ways,
I see her in all my thoughts,
I am selfish and wanting,
I want her before the clock stops,
I ask time what can I do,
I love her more then life,
If love isn't enough,
I wonder if she will look and see the time,
At Night
At night I sit in my lonely den
I think of you with out end,
I see your smile,
Feel your touch,
Gentle loving, caring so much,
I think of you
The things you say,
The way you can put words to gather in a special way,
How we can talk a whole night though
Of things that only matter to me and you,
Things of the world,
Or dreams we share,
Things we wish to experience,
If we dare,
I think of how strong you are,
How your glass is never half empty,
Always three-quarters full,
I think of how you stand though trials,
Even forgive me when I have failed in all,
How you can listen, and smile and say it will all be better on another day,
I think of your hair so soft and sweet,
I think of the gentleness of your feet,
As they cup themselves in mine,
And your arms around me entwine,
I find my mind going to so many places,
The way you smile and laugh and play,
When you make a friend with a camel, or goat,
Or look up the Clydesdales and hope,
I think of all your eyes do say,
The shades of blue that sometimes touch gray,
How they talk of what's in your soul,
The little girl who is growing old,
How the jump with glee,
When you find a doll or book, or look at a bird in a tree,
I think of how my life feels whole,
Just feeling you there, I think I'll never grow old,
I think of how they shine,
When our love making every time,
How your body is like a comfort to my soul,
And you make my heart warm never cold,
I think of your fingers,
How they move,
Along the keyboard of a piano playing a tune,
Or they lock in mine and guide me past some books you find,
I think of the way you walk, fast for those short legs, and won't stop,
How your body moves with grace,
And I see your tender face.
I see the smoothness of your skin,
How I want to touch you time and again,
I find you the most wonderful girl,
How I love those blonde curls.
I think of your taste upon my lips,
How sweet is your kiss,
Or the taste of your finest wine,
From your deepest well inside.
Oh to hold you in my arms,
Oh how my heart yearns,
I love you like none before,
And no one can match the chords in my heart,
For it is only you I adore.
I see the way you eat,
I watch you as you brush your teeth,
I hear you hum or sing a song,
And my heart breaks cause I need you home.
For in you I found a prize,
A reason to live and never die,
I found all I longed for,
Someone who could love me
And so much more,
I found what joy really is,
When upon you I lay my head.
And with you time stands still,
You are like a dream and yet so real.
I see so many small things,
The way you sound when you dream,
The sound you make when surprised,
And get that twinkle in your eye.
If you can not see my love,
Or feel how strong or how I hurt,
Its not you its only me,
I can't show you things like you show me.
All I know is I break inside,
Cause your not here tonight,
But love you still I surely do,
And love you till there is no sky of blue,
Till god takes us all home,
Even then I won't be done,
Mistakes I have made in my grief,
But loving you has never ceased.
From deep inside,
I want you home to live and abide
And if you will come I'll do my best,
To bring you some joy and happiness,
If I fail I'll take my life,
For I never want to see you unhappy or cry,
Cause to much pain has already been,
Its time for our life and happiness to begin,
Is there time to cry,
in this busy life,
is there time to feel pain,
Laugh or smile or even die,
Is there time to love
to cuddle to someone though a storm,
is there time try bring some happiness,
is there time to believe in a God,
or give someone a hug,
is there time to love your wife or husband,
make time for your children,
is there time to read a book,
take a walk with someone you love,
make the time before its to late
before God calls you to his gate,
if you do will be worth it all
there is time now don't wait
give someone a call, hug, kiss,
and you will find some happiness

Here We Wonder
Here we wonder,
We feel the pain,
Will it stop?
Or begin again,
Can we know?
Or understand,
Why anyone would want to kill again and again,
Children crying into the night,
Fathers and mothers lost, many dying,
Is there any light?
Then we see the stars above,
And know there is God, and there is love,
We see it in those who struggle onward,
Before
Before I lay down to sleep,
My heart for you doeth weep,
My tears are nothing new,
Nor is the love I have for you,
You see you make me smile,
You fill my longing all the while,
Being apart is torture true,
But it hasn't changed how much I love you,
Seems so much has come and gone,
Our past lives is over and a new begun,
For with each day the old one dies,
I wonder how long before you will be at my side,
I can't undo the wrongs done,
I can't even promise there won't be more,
All I have to promise you
Is my love whole and true?
Please I beg of god and you,
Come home and be with me soon,
Not for a night or just a day or two,
Come and be the wife as we promised to do,
I miss your touch, your smile,
I miss the way you move your mouth,
I miss the holding and kissing and love,
I miss our oneness that proved our love,
How long will I love you?
You ask from time to time,
I'll love you as long,
That there is time,
I'll love you as long as God lives,
I will love you forever and then still.
So I pray before it's too late,
Don't let another day keep you away,
You have that, which you always dreamed,
Someone that loves you more then anything,
