| While not exactly pertaining to Christ the King I have also included here an image of the Infant of Prague. The people of the east have been famous for their religious devotion, whether to the Catholic or Orthodox Church, and the Child Jesus as the Infant of Prague is one of the most well known sacred images of our Lord. The Child Jesus is very important, if we are to enter Heaven, we must be as little children. The Infant of Prague symbolizes to me how our body means nothing, it is our spirit that matters. Even as a little child Jesus was King of kings and the Son of God, above all the people around Him. It also shows how we must have the faith and innocence of a child to be like Christ. It also reminds me of the great potential of children, how much they can embody in their tiny frame, as Jesus was King and Savior even at birth, and proves how terrible abortion is for taking away that chance of life and potential for greatness. |
