The Sacred Heart of Christ the King |
The Sacred Heart of Jesus goes hand in hand with devotion to Christ the King. The Sacred Heart has been called the "Symbol of Combativity and the Restoration of Christendom"--what could be more needed today?! The Sacred Heart, and all of the pure devotion that it represents, calls upon all Christians to be zealous, orthodox, aggressive with their Faith and absolutely loyal to Christ the King. It was revealed to St. Margaret Mary that Christ, through His Sacred Heart, wanted, "to enter with pomp and magnificence into the palaces of Kings and Princes,". At this time the particular target was the court of King Louis XIV of France. The Sacred Heart was to be established on the throne and passed down to every subject in the kingdom. The Sacred Heart was always a very Christian Monarchist symbol and devotion. |
During the Vendee Counterrevolution, the Sacred Heart was the symbol of the Catholic & Royal Army. The Sacred Heart Badge was often the only uniform of the royalists (to get your own badge, click here). During the civil war in Spain the traditional monarchists of the Carlists forces wore red berets, shouted, "Viva Christo Rey" (long live Christ the King) and placed the Sacred Heart on everything from rifles to tanks. |
The Sacred Heart was also the cornerstone of one of the few truly |
Christian republics in history (though short-lived) which was the Republic of Ecuador under President Gabriel Garcia Moreno who was assassinated by a Mason in 1875 a few years after consecrating the Republic of Ecuador to the Sacred Heart. It was even written into law that the Sacred Heart was the "Patron and Protector" of the country and the Feast of the Sacred Heart was recognized as a public national holiday. The Sacred Heart is the standard of Christian monarchism, the movement to restore tradition and Christ the King-the symbol of the great counter revolution. I encourage everyone to study on it, display it in your house, and follow the example of the Vendee royalists and wear your own Sacred Heart Badge. |
