Christ's Virgin Birth
Prophecy: "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14)."
Fulfillment: "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us (Matthew 1:23)."

Christ's Place of Birth
Prophecy: "But thou, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting (Micah 5:2)."
Fulfillment: "NOW when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem (Matthew 2:1, see also Luke 2:4-7)."

Christ's Reception
Prophecy: "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not (Isaiah 53:3)."
Fulfillment: "He came unto his own, and his own received him not (John 1:11)."
"I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not... (John 5:43)."

Christ's Suffering
Prophecy: "[A] man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief... (Isaiah 53:3)."
Fulfillment: "Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death... (Matthew 26:38)."
Prophecy: "Surely he hath born our griefs, and carried our sorrows... (Isaiah 53:4)."
Filfillment: "That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses (Matthew 8:17)."
Prophecy: "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities... (Isaiah 53:5)."
"[T]hey pierced my hands and my feet (Psalms 22:16)."
Fulfillment: "And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him... (Luke 23:33)."
"[O]ne of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water (John 19:34)."

Christ's Death
Prophecy: "[H]e was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken (Isaiah 53:8)."
"[H]e hath poured out his soul unto death... (Isaiah 53:12)."
"[A]fter threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off... (Daniel 9:26)."
Fulfillment: "And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost (Luke 23:46)."

Christ's Burial
Prophecy: "[H]e made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death... (Isaiah 53:9)."
Fulfillment: "When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathea, named Joseph, who...begged the body of Jesus...And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, And laid it in his own new tomb... (Matthew 27:57-60)."

Christ's Resurrection
Prophecy: "[T]hou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption." (Psalms 16:10)
Fulfillment: "This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnessses." (Acts 2:32)
Prophecy: "[T]hou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days...." (Isaiah 53:10)
Fulfillment: "[T]he angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen as he said. Come see the place where the Lord lay." (Matthew 28:5-6)

Christ's Divinity and Humanity
Prophecy: "[U]nto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wnderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6)
Fulfillment: "[T]he angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end." (Luke 1:30-33)

Christ Would be Born of the Seed of a Woman
Prophecy: "...I will put enmity between thee and the women, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." (Genesis 3:15)
Fulfillment: "[W]hen the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law...." (Galatians 4:4)

Christ Would be Born of Abraham's Seed
Prophecy: "[I]n thy [Abraham's] seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed...." (Genesis 22:18)
Fulfillment: "THE book of the generation of Jesus Christ...the son of Abraham." (Matthew 1:1)

Christ Would be Born of David's Seed
Prophey: "[T]he days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth." (Jeremiah 23:5)
Fulfillment: "THE book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David...." (Matthew 1:1)

Christ Would be Heir to David's Throne
Prophecy: "Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and justice from henceforth even for ever...." (Isaiah 9:7)
Fulfillment: "He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David. And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end." (Luke 1:32-33)

Christ's Would be Born the Son of God
Prophecy: "I will declare the decree: the Lord [God] hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee." (Psalms 2:7)
Fulfillment: "[L]o a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." (Matthew 3:17)

Christ Would be Born at a Specific Time
Prophecy: "Know therefore and understand, that from from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks...." (Daniel 9:25)
Fulfillment: "[W]hen the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of s woman, made under the law." (Galatians 4:4)

Christ Would be a Prophet Like Moses
Prophecy: "I will raise the up a Prophet [Jesus] from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him." (Deuteronomy 18:18)
Fulfillment: "[H]e shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you....For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you." (Acts 320-22)

Christ's is Lord
Prophecy: "THE Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool." (Psalms 110:1)
Fulfillment: "[H]e said unto them, How say they that Christ is David's son? And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Till I make thine enemies thy footstool. David therefore called him Lord, how is he then his son? (Luke 20:41-44)

Christ's Ministry Would be Preceeded by a Forerunner

Christ Would be Sold for Thirty Pieces of Silver

Christ Would be Smitten and Spat Upon
