God has handed me the victory
God
has provided very well.
Jesus' saints are mounting assault,
On Satan and
the gates of hell.
His saints are dressed for battle,
And they shall
surely win,
For Jesus has won the victory,
Defeating death and sin.
Jesus is our banner for the battle.
Him, we proudly shall display.
For God is for us in this war,
Who can stand against Him, anyway?
We shall stand up on our feet,
Arrayed in battle gear for that hour.
We shall cast fear far away from us,
Relying on the Holy Spirit's power.
The battle shall be hard fought,
Many shall feel persecution's
sting.
With God's love and mercy towards us,
Those trials don't mean a
thing.
Don't forget whose child you are,
Bought by the blood of the
lamb,
You're secure in God's family,
He's still the great I AM!
