Welcome to the first website about Portugal , Macau ( a former portuguese territory ) and Brasil automatic teller machine stamps , machine vending stamps or postage labels . This kind of philatelic material is also know as ATM ( the name that I will use ) . The portuguese Post ( CTT ) started to use ATM machines from 1981 ( the six country in the Word to use ATM machines ) . Until today , several ATM´s were issued and several types of machines ( Frama , Klüssendorf , Crouzet , Olivetti , INESC , SMD , Amiel and Newvision E-Post ) were used making Portugal the country that has used more diferent types of ATM machines in the world . There is a growing opinion there are too many unnecessary issues and too many machines !

A former territory in Asia under portuguese administration , Macau , has also issued some ATM´s . The biggest country in South America , Brasil , as also issued some ATM material .

In the most recent years , another interesting event took place with the use of ATM portuguese national made machines in foreight countries , such as Norwy and Spain .

Maybe one day in the future , this website could be the worldwide meeting point for portuguese speaking countries ATM philately . I hope so !
