Downloading Procedure for Smartwave 2500A

1. Connect satellite receiver to PC with RS-232C straight cable( Not Null Modem ).

2. Turn on the power of the satellite receiver.

3. Open the GTROM STB UPDATER.

4. Click “ STB MODEL” and type model name exactly( Example: Pansat 100E,

Pansat 2300A, Pansat 1500A or Pansat 2500A).

5. Click “ BIN FILE” and select the bin file you want to download then click “ Download”.

6. Do not interrupt while downloading.

7. Press OK after download complete; satellite receiver will reboot by itself.

Do not interrupt satellite receiver until reboot by itself.

Setup up procedure for Smartwave 2500A

1. Select the Menu page. Choose “Installation”.
2. Select “Antenna Setup”. Choose the satellite name you want to view.
3. Make sure the “LNB LOCAL FREQ.” is 11250 and the Quality is at least 50% and green.(for 110. 119. 61.5 91, 82. 97) 10750 for (121 . T5)
4. Select the “Satellite Search” menu and download the channel list.
5. Go back to the Main Menu; select the “Parental Control”. Go to the “Second Pin” and enter the pin num#0000.
6. Select the “Nagravision” and type “0001” in the provide ID. Type the “00” in the key number. Enter the KEY DATA 1 (shown below). Click the OK button to save. Or (go to set default key from“Parental Control”. The key will auto roll )
7. Select the key number again, using the remote control key left or right button to open a new blank box. Put the “01” in, and enter the KEY DATA 2 (shown below) and click the OK bottom to save.

1) PC to Receiver use straight through DB-9 Serial Cable.

2) Software version transfer update from receiver to receiver can be done
