Daisuke is the new leader in Digimon Series 02. Suke plays on the same soccer team as Taichi, his idol. He used to wear goggles similar to those Tai wears (except square, not round), but when Tai realizes that Daisuke is now one of the new Chosen Children, he gives him his old goggles. Suke has a big crush on Kari and is jealous of her friendship with TK. Daisuke is a dependable friend, but can be a bit erratic. In addition, Daisuke's emotions can run high and he often loses his cool.

Daisuke lives with his mother, father, and older sister. His sister, Jun, is in the 11^th grade and is a huge fan of Matt. (and all cute boyz =_+)

Daisuke was also one of the children who was brought before Myotismon in the search for the eighth child.
