I think a dream is something we would go to the ends of the earth to fulfill. We would work all our life to make our dreams come true.
A wish is something we want really bad but just sit around waiting for someone to give it to us or just appear. We don't work for it and if it comes true we are just glad but when a dream comes true that you had to work for you are so very proud. What do you think?
This is a poem I found that really hit me. I just believe it is right.
I've dreamed many dreams that never came true
And seen most just vanish at dawn,
But I've realized enough of those dreams
To make me want to dream on.
I've prayed many prayers when no answers came
Though I waited patient and long,
But answers came to enough of my prayers
To make me keep praying on.
I've trusted many a friend that has failed
And left me there weeping alone,
But I've known enough who were faithful and true
To make me keep trusting on.
I've sown many seeds that fell by the way
That, often, never have grown,
But I've held enough green sheaves in my hands
To make me keep sowing on.
I've drunk from life's cup of heartache and pain
And gone many days without song,
But I've seen enough beauty in the roses of life
To make me want to live on.
