This is another special page for me. It is dedicated to all the caretakers out there. Weather they are watching over a loved one at home or aids in a hospital or other healing institution. This takes a very special person-- not everyone could do it. If you know of anyone in that role, especially if they are at home, please see if you can do anything to help or just take them lunch sometime or give them a hug it is a very hard job. I would especially like to thank all the people at East Main Street. These are very special hard working people that love what they are doing and it shows. It is sad sometimes when they lose one of their charges however they have brought some people back after the doctors have almost given up on them. They have made life so much happier and helped them achieve so much more then anyone ever thought they would. They can be sure that the people left this world happy because of them. They have definitely left their heartprints on many people |

Heartprints Whatever our hands touch We leave fingerprints, On walls, on furniture, On doorknobs, dishes, books, As we touch we leave our identity. Oh please where ever I go today, Help me leave heartprints, Heartprints of compassion Of understanding and love. Heartprints of kindness And genuine concern. May my heart touch a lonely neighbor Or a runaway daughter, Or an anxious mother, Or perhaps a dear friend. I shall go out today To leave heartprints, And if someone should say "I felt your touch," May that one sense be... YOUR LOVE Touching...through ME. Author Unknown |
