Labradors |
54~57 cm |
Well as I'm a lab, I can tell you a bit about them! Labradors were developed in the 19th Century from Newfoundland Water Dogs. They are intelligent, good tempered dogs, who have a will to please . They have a kind and gentle nature, which makes them great dogs for families with young children. They are popular choices as assistant dogs, and their good sense of smell combined with their trainability means they are excellent sniffer dogs and gundogs. Labradors need a lot of excersise and carefull attention to diet, as they are prone to putting on lots of weight! They have short coats-hard to touch in most cases, and are either black, yellow or chocolate. Chocolate being the rarest and black probably the most popular. Recently, labradors were voted Britains most popular dog! (From the Kennel Club). |
Humans have this thing about seeing how old a dog is in 'human years'. I don't understand it, but heres something I found that makes it more accurate! |
