Meg's Gundog Years
Nikki wants to tell my story, so here it is!:
As Meg said on "our" homepage, she used to be a gundog, and a very good one at that! We didn't train her thought we rehomed her. I don't like shooting birds, but Meg can't help it if she used to be a gundog! The picture below shows her with just a few of her prizes. I don't know how old she was then, because I didn't own her. We only got her Christmas 1999. She was then 6. She belonged to my next door neighbours friend, and he was retiring her, so we offered her a home! She came to live with me my mum and dad, my old dog Tia, cat Nermal, budgie Troy, and many fish in a pond. But that didn't seem to scare her, and she settled in really well!
Meg's Pedigree name is a bit strange, but we didn't make it up! Its Bellsmill Moody of Pasturelands. Her birthday is 13th April.
A few Field Trials she has won are:
1st in the Nothumberland And Durham labrador retriever Club
1st in the Lancashire and Merseyside Field Trial Society
2nd in the United Gundog Breeders Association
and many more.

What MEG means...
Your pet would rather be home than anywhere else in the world. Her strong parenting instinct makes for an ideal animal for breeding. Your pet is certainly never dull. You may find this animal has a dulastic nature being very communative one minute and sullen the next. This is an intelligent, obedient pet who needs to feel needed.
