Hello and welcome to my Music Notes homepage! My name is Rachel Gorsuch and I am so excited to be able to offer this site to both my students and their parents. It is a pleasure and a joy to be able to share my love of music with all of you. I graduated from Elon University with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and a concentration in voice. I also play the violin and am continually working on my piano skills. I was a North Carolina Teaching Fellow. I look forward to getting to know all of you!

I have divided this site into several different sections. On the Class Activities page you will find pictures, descriptions of activities, and lists of the songs we work on for grades K-1, 2-3, and 4-5. On the Music Websites page I have links to my IKeepBookmarks account which contains links to several helpful music resources. The Calendar of Events page contains a link to Calendars.net where I have a detailed calendar of upcoming events and due dates. Under Forms and Information the student can find a link to the practice record form I will use. Parents can also access the forms that I will be sending home with students (should those forms be lost in transit). Finally, on the Music and Technology page I have links to two power point presentations about technology issues, a link to Finale Notepad (a great piece of software), and a link to my entire IKeepBookmarks account.
