I greet you today with an uplifting passage on Heaven and hope you take a moment to envision, as best one meekly can, the unspeakable blessing awaiting God's faithful "friends." Yes, He calls us "sons" and "daughters" and "heirs" and "children of God" also, but I especially like being called His "friend." To be called "children" brings to mind our own helplessness unless God provides air to our lungs, guidance to our lives, and anointing to our ministry labors. "Without me you can do nothing," He tells us; and that equates us with the innocent unborn in evil hands. Without someone to befriend them, they are helpless victims.
Today the unrighteous demand still more opportunities to exploit and kill sons and daughters at their purest age. The deceptive "California Stem Cell Research & Cures Initiative" will be on the November ballot, yet not a single cure has been found using embryonic stem cells (23 cures have developed from adult cells, which are plentiful). A new terrorism thus awaits many little Californians if the initiative passes, while the unwitting terrorists promoting embryonic stem research bemoan the foreign terrorists now targeting America and the world. How true "The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to Him [1 Cor 2:14]" and how true "God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise [1 Cor 1:27]." Accordingly, apostle Paul rejoiced in being a "fool for Christ" as should we.
