Taken in 1939, this shows Fed, Kentucky, a. k. a. Hi Hat. The C & O Railroad called it Clear Creek Junction. Bottom center is the J. D. McCoy House, and above it are
three company houses for the men who operated the power station. In the distance, upper right, is the Bill Hayes Store, and beyond the store is the Clear Creek School.
