Lily Pearl
Meet "Lily Pearl" the newest friend and former guest in our lives. She had come to stay with us until we found her the forever home every sweet Boxer longs for. She has that forever home with Kelli , daughter Jada and Boxer brother Bowser, and was adopted on 11/16/2002.  She has adapted wonderfully and they love her to pieces. A wonderful success story that we want to share.
Let me tell you a little bit about her....
She is approximately one year old, born Set 2001. She is spayed, current on vaccinations. She visited the Vet on 9/3, for heartworm and a checkup. She is heartworm NEG,now on Interceptor and was given a clean bill of health, except for a bit of incontinence that is being treated with medication.

Lily had spent her entire life on the end of a chain, on dirt, in temps of 100+ most of the summer and 30's in the winter. She wasn't housebroken, but is  now and seems to understand better, what we want from her. She's a smart girl and learns fairly quickly.
Despite her rough start in life, she is the most loving and attentive little thing. She absolutely loves to have her head stroked and had adapted rapidly to the indoor, cushy life of the rest of the critters here. She  learned about play and toys and running free.
Lily is very loving and tries to be obedient. Sometimes, she just has trouble understanding exactly what you want, but when she does figure it out, she minds really well.
She loves to snuggle right up against you every chance she gets.

She already has the makings of an excellent "Slippery Silver Serpent Slayer" and Maggie & Barney  "learned" her all about proper Kingdom Defense before she left!
