My Third Cousin: Staff Seargent Worley E. Wilson served in the Nineth Army, 84th Infantry Division (the "Railsplitters"), 335th Regiment, Company G. Born on May 30, 1924 and was killed in action on Febrauary 25, 1945 while leading his men In Germany - according to the letter received by his parents. Remains were returned to the US and rests along side of his parents in his native Pennslyvania. |
