Test

Sean's men return for an unsuccessful search for the homing device. Anna is sent to another room, but eavesdropping, she hears Sean's frustration and plays on it.

Anna: Not having any luck, are you Sean?

Sean: You know, listening at doors can get you in a lot of trouble, Anna.

Anna (laughs) I'm in enough trouble Sean and you've proven that. And my only means of escape is that homing device which has obviously disappeared.

Sean: It will be found. Don't worry about it.

Anna: Of course. As you said, it could be broken. In which case, you do have nothing to worry about. On the other hand, it's getting dark and your men are going to have to wait until the morning before they can continue searching.

Sean: Why don't you just shutup, Anna?

Anna: It's just possible that that little homing device is lying underneath a rock beneath a bush beating it's little heart out... (She strolls over to window, smiling) ...leading Robert right here to your door. (She faces him) You're gonna lose Sean. Robert's gonna find us. And I don't think you're going to sleep very well tonight, are you?

Sean: I'll sleep just fine.

Anna (looking out hotel window) Oh dear dear dear. They don't seem to be having very much luck Sean and you're going to be losing sunlight shortly.

Sean: Why don't you just get away from the window, Anna?

Anna: Oh excuse me. We are getting a little touchy, aren't we? I thought you were certain that your men could find the homing device.

Sean: Don't worry. They'll find it. Right now, I'm more concerned about that crown.

Anna: Well, I hope it's soon cause you're headed for a nervous collapse. (laughs) As long as it gets here before Mr. Wu does, you'll be fine, just fine.

Sean: Why don't you tell me a little about Mr. Wu?

Anna: What do you want to know?

Sean: I've never met him. You have. What's he like?

Anna: He's a man of very few words. Quite charming really.

Sean: Oh good. It's always nice to know I'll be dealing with a gentleman. A man who can obviously appreciate what I have to sell.

Anna: Ah yes. He's definitely a gentleman Sean. But it's only when he isn't crossed. You know, I don't think I'd like to be on the receiving end of his anger and all.

Sean: I don't intend to be.

Anna: You could prepare yourself though. Just for any reason. I mean, Mr. Wu wouldn't be very happy if you couldn't sell him the complete treasure.

Sean: It'll be complete when I get the crown.

Anna: Now are you absolutely sure that when your man left Port Charles, he wasn't being followed?

Sean: Oh come on, Anna! He's a highly trained ex-WSB agent. The day that he can't handle two kids like Frisco and Felicia is the day I throw in the towel.

Anna: Oh well, Robert obviously had them kidnapped for some reason. And a very good one at that. You are being set up you know Sean.

Sean: Well he tried. I'll give him that. But even Robert Scorpio can't succeed all the time.

Anna: You won't know that until you get the crown, will you?

Sean: I'll get it very soon.

Anna: Just for argument sake, I mean, suppose that something went wrong. Supposing that Mr. Wu got here and you couldn't sell him the complete treasure? What would you do? What would be your contingency plan?

Sean: I'll just go back to my original plan, selling the treasure piece by piece. I'm sure that Mr. Wu is not the only collector of antiquities in this world.

Anna: True. Then that would be difficult for you, wouldn't it? I mean, the longer you have the treasure in your possession, the more chance there is of Robert catching up with you, isn't that right? (She smiles)

Sean: A risk I'm willing to take, Anna. (gets up annoyed)

Anna (gets up too) I don't think I've made myself particularly clear. You see, if Mr. Wu goes to the trouble of bringing himself out here and he gets disappointed, he's not going to be quite as considerate with you as Robert would.

Sean: What makes you think that Robert is going to be considerate? Even if he gets here before it's too late, which I doubt.

Anna: Robert would let you live, Sean.

Sean: I doubt that too. It's a little too late, Anna. I've gone over the proverbial line with Robert Scorpio.
