Test

Anna is sitting in her New York apartment sipping tea when Robert shows up at her door. The maid opens it while Anna fixes her hair....

Maid: Yes?

Robert: It's Robert Scorpio.

Maid: (to Anna) What shall I do?

Anna: (nervous) Uh, let him in of course. (Robert walks in and looks right at her. She smiles) Well, you couldn't keep away from me, Robert.

Robert: (walks past her) I'm here to search your apartment.

Anna: (follows him calmly) Um, what are you looking for? Is there anything I can help you with?

Robert: Just stay out of my way.

Anna: Well, this is the livingroom and through here we have...

Robert: I don't need a map!

Anna: Or a search warrant obviously.

Robert: I warned you- if you hurt my wife...

Anna: You wouldn't stop at anything. Yes, I remember. I think that you're wasting time.

Robert: We'll see about that. (Begins searching, while Anna calmly takes a seat and sips her tea)

Anna: Ah, ex-husband. Did we find anything?

Robert: Well, I found out you're not as hard up as you would have Sean believe.

Anna: Oh, I see. Antique checking are we?

Robert: Jewelry too. Quite a collection.

Anna: And did you go through my lingerie also?

Robert: You're hiding something.

Anna: If I was hiding anything do you suppose that I would allow you in here without a search warrant?

Robert: Well, you see I don't need one with you.

Anna: Oh yes, you still think of me as yours do you?

Robert: (stops rummaging and faces her) I don't want to talk about that anymore. We were only married for a few weeks.

Anna: But they were a very memorable few weeks. (keeps sipping tea)

Robert: Put them out of my mind a long time ago.

Anna: Ouch. That hurts.

Robert: (looks around again) Well what have we got in here. (sees suitcase and opens it and stops)

Anna: Does it bring back any memories...

Flashback - Anna unpacking her suitcase at the hotel in France as Robert looks on......

Robert: You call this stuff regulation WSB gear? Look at this! Silk dresses, lingerie, heaven knows what else.

Anna: I use it for diversion.

Robert: I'll bet you do.

Anna: (lifts false bottom in suitcase) For this.

Robert: Good grief. You've got enough stuff here for 5 agents! Typical for a woman to overpack on a mission.

Anna: I intend to use all of it on this caper...

Back to the present.....

Anna: (smiles) Well, there's no false bottom in that suit case.

Robert: Perhaps, but my gut feeling tells me that you're hiding something. (Finds a hollow part of a wall and laughs) Last chance to run Anna.

Anna: I'm frozen with anticipation. (He opens the hollow and finds jewels) They're all mine and I can prove it.

Robert: Where's your jade?

Anna: Oh, I never deal in jade, scouts honor.

Robert: I'm gonna figure out this little game your playing with Donely if it's the last thing I do.

Anna (faces him off and stares him down) Do that.

Robert: This is just the beginning Anna...just the beginning. (Storms out as she looks on.)
