Capitan Monastario fencing Zorro.
Will and his Tornado.
I just wanted to write a short note to introduce myself and let you know how much I'm enjoying the GWFriendslist. I joined a couple of weeks ago (in the middle of the AM debate) at the invitiation of Kathy N., who I "met" through ebay.
My name is Lisa, and I live just outside of Tampa with my son, Will. I work for an environmental laboratory where I am in charge of accounting and human resources.  My interest in Guy started last summer when Will, who is 4, discovered Zorro on the Disney Channel.  (Please don't ask why a 4 year old was up at midnight!) I started watching more and more of it with him and really enjoyed it.  I don't remember ever seeing it as a child.  I'm sure I would have loved it.  Instead I watched Roy Rogers reruns and named my rocking horse Trigger.  Now Will calls his rocking horse Tornado.
Will decided he was outgrowing his Lion King room decorations, so I bought some Zorro lobby cards and photos to re-decorate.  I also got him some puzzles and books that he can play with.  I am anxiously awaiting my copy of Kathy's latest drawing.
So there you have it.  What started out as a quest for some cool decorations for a kid's bedroom and playroom has taken on a life of its own and I find that the more I learn the more my interest is piqued.  I could bore you for hours with cute Will/Zorro stories, but I'll force myself to limit it to a couple of short things.
I took Will horseback riding a couple of months ago for the first time.  it was very hot here in Florida, but he insisted on dressing as Zorro.  He was so excited when they brought out a big white horse, just like Zorro's horse Phantom.  All along the trail he was telling me that he thought he saw the Sergeant and Corporal and some Indians in the bushes.  When we passed some other riders coming from the other direction, he drew his sword, made a big "Z" in the air, and told me "Don't wory, Senorita.  Zorro will protect you."
Another time he begged me for days to hang a rope from the ceiling fan in the living room so he could swing from it like Zorro swings from the chandelier in the tavern.  Fortunately we've been able to avoid that, so far.
Anyway, I am happy to be part of such an interesting and talented group and hope that I can contribute in some way.
Hasta manana,
Lisa

Hi, I just wanted to extend my welcome to the new members, even though I'm new myself.  I rediscovered Guy Williams and Zorro when our cable company added the Disney Channel last year.  I have been obsessed ever since, although probably not so much as many of the other members.  It is not that I don't want too but I've never been that type of person.  I just worship from afar.

The only other actor I've ever obsessed about was Pierce Brosnan when he was on Remington Steele.  If you look and think hard enough both men have very close similarites in looks, elan, family values, privacy, TALENT and much more.  Even walk and stature  are similar.  There were RS episodes where Brosnan was smoking and holding his cigar much like Guy's Diego.  Both men send shivers down my back.

I live in Pittsburgh and last year after 15 years in the biz, I purchased my own travel agency.  Although I often have reservations abut my decision as the costs are incredible.  I am in God's hands and hopefully His angels will help me succeed.

I'm not married.  I never been but once found a "married prince" when I was young.  So it was not meant to be.  Always the career woman.  I am the godmother to 2 wonderful kids and have 7 great-nieces and nephews living in San Antonio and Austin.

I live with a family of felines (6 - Los Gattos) who give me much CAT_ATTUDE naturally.  The jewel of this group is my Norwegian Forest Cat, Nikolas, with a white chest and striped tuxedo jacket.  Absolutely FAB and he knows it!  The others are Milo, Louie, Nino, Luci and Le Mouch (Moochie).

I enjoy reading everyone's comments and theories and it helps to break up the stress from the job.  After a few queries to other sights, Kathy invited me to join the GWFlist.  I'm still waiting for my welcome pack and hope to enjoy SOON.  I am amazed at the wealth of information certain individuals have about Guy, Zorro, Disney and other entertainment "trivia".  It's such an education that you new members will enjoy.
This is for you gents on the list, I just had to give up my 15 year old Pontiac 6000 that I called BIG BERTHA.  She just couldn't go on anymore.  Now like everyone else, I'm stuck with new car payments.
Anyway, I have a small web site

you can get me at that email too.

What is it about this "Guy", he's been dead 10 years.  We still can't get enough of him.  His family probably thinks we're all crazy but it's nice to share this with all of you.  Thanks.
