Glossop High School foundation stone was laid 18 November 1940 by His Excellency the Governor Malcolm Barclay-Harvey. The building was not finished until the commencement of the second term in 1941. Three generations of Sando descendents have attended Glossop High starting with my father, Ian Sando, who enrolled in the inaugural year 1941. |
