Medusa

The mirror's but a courtesy for the girl;
the hero isn't needing it -- he's seen worse.
If battlefield carnage doesn't make him hurl,
the mirror's but a courtesy for the girl --
because the hero frequently is a churl
who thinks he's the recipient of the curse.
The mirror's but a courtesy for the girl;
the hero isn't needing it -- he's seen worse.
