softly and gently
capturing my heart.
I tried so hard,
to hold back feelings,
tucking them away
deep inside for safekeeping
for so many reasons.
Before you,
it seemed so easy to do.
Now I find
the feelings so strong,
the passion of giving,
the need to be complete
overcomes me
making me want to give
those innermost parts
of myself to you
without reservation.
I need to express all I feel,
giving to you the essence
of that which is me
until we flow as one,
the intimacy of
our joined spirits,
knowing there is no going back,
and that nothing
will ever be as it was,
before you.
