Potta Ashram, is situated in a small obscure village of Muringoor in the central part of Kerala. It was at this place a few years ago that God showed His Power of Healing, Love, Forgiveness, and above all His Divine Self. The Miracles that have taken place here are too numerous to recall off hand. The Area is called Chalakudy and the Station is now known as Divine Nagar. It was founded as the Popular Mission Centre of the Vincentian Congregation. Popular Mission is the parish where the renewal programme is conducted by the Vincentian fathers. It started of as a small retreat centre, soon people began to crowd to the Ashram seeking spiritual solace and liberation from the evils of alcoholic and drug addiction. The sick and broken hearted came in large numbers. God's compassionate love poured in. From January 1987 onwards daily ministry of the Word and healing services are conducted in the Ashram from 8 a.m. in the morning to 4 p.m. in the afternoon. About 3000 people attend these services every day. Salvific love of God flows into the hearts of these people, healing them of their ailments and flooding their minds with great joy and peace. The invitation to John and Andrew by Jesus echoed in the hearts of many ( John. 1:39). People were insistently asking to stay in the Ashram for a few days to hear the Word of God continuously and pray unceasingly. A small retreat house was constructed on the premises of the Ashram for the purpose. Week-long resident retreats are conducted in this house on alternate weeks. Bible conventions are conducted in various parts of India by a team under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Mathew Naickomparambil, V.C. The gatherings swelled to millions in the conventions in the cities of Trivandrum, Ernakulam, Trichur and other towns of Kerala.
Six kilometers away from Potta, there was a building constructed for the Divine Hospital. The hospital was not functioning for a long time. It was the purpose of the Lord that the Divine Hospital be used for Divine Healing through the preaching of the Word of God. Under the directorship of Rev. Fr. George Panakkal, V.C., week-long resident retreats are conducted over here every week, in which more than 5000 people participate.

Thought for the Day:" Blessed are you poor, For yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are you who hunger now, For you shall be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, For you shall laugh. Blessed are you when men hate you, And when they exclude you, And revile you, and cast out your name as evil, For the Son of Man's sake. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy! For indeed your reward is great in heaven, Fon in the manner their fathers did to the prophets. But woe to you who are rich, For you have received your consolation. Woe to you who are full, For you shall hunger. Woe to you who laugh now, For you shall mourn and weep. Woe to you when all men speak well of you, For so did they fathers to the false prophets." Holy Bible: Luke 6:20-26
