| This is the Ambrose Mullins Jr. line from Russell and Wise County Virginia. He was my husband's gr. gr. gr grandfather. Ambrose was the son of Ambrose Mullins Sr., who descended down from William Mullins. One of our Mullins lines descends from Riley Mullins born abt 1821, who was the son of Ambrose Jr. and Nancy Mullins. Nancy was the daughter of "Spotted Dave Mullins". Riley Mullins married Elizabeth Ingle. She was born about 1822. Her parents were Henry and Sarah Ingle. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Ollie Mullins was my husband's great grand mother. She was born in Wise County Virginia. Ollie married William "Bill" Mullins, probably in Wise County. She is in the Wise County 1880 census as head of household, 24 years old, with three children and she is a widow. Apparently "William", died young. Her oldest child is 6 years old. She probably married William between 1873-1874. Her children, by William were Sarah Mullins: Margaret Mullins, (my husband's grandmother) and Wallis Mullins. In 1885, Ollie married Archie Horn in McDowell County. They settled in Buchanan County Virginia, by 1900 and are listed in the census up till 1920, Ollie and Archie had several children. Also, my husband's maternal great grandfather was Harvey Mullins, son of James and Sarah Mullins. He married first Hulda Mullins, daughter of William "Bresh" and Juda Mullins. He married second, Mary Ann Rowe, daughter of Jacob and Tabitha Rowe. Harvey and Mary Ann Mullins were parents of Alafair Mullins, my husbands grandmother. |
