The Great Judgement
“Then
I saw a great white Throne and Him who sat on it,
from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away.
And there was found no place for them.
Revelation 20:11.”
“I
watched until Thrones were put in place, and the Ancient of Days was seated.
His garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head was like pure wool.
His Throne was a fiery flame, it's wheels a burning fire. A fiery stream
issued and came forth from before Him. A thousand thousands ministered to
Him, ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The Court was
seated and the books were opened.” Daniel 7:9-10.
The Great Day of
Universal Judgement will surely be one of Creation's most spectacular
events. This Judgement will encompass ALL Dimensions, including Heaven and
Hell, and every creature in them. “...
and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were
judged, each one according to his works.” Revelation 20:13.
But why have such a
Universal and public display of Judgement? Why not just caste the wicked
into the Lake of Fire and be done with it? The Judgement must be public
for a number of reasons:
* “For
nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not
be known and come to light.”
Luke 8:17.
The Judgement is a public event to reveal
the hidden deeds of the wicked and the hidden deeds of the good before all of
Creation.

“For
we must all appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ, that each one may receive
the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.”
2 Corinthians 5:10. The
Judgement is a public event to reward
the deeds of the wicked and the deeds of the good before all of Creation.
* “And
I heard another voice from the Altar saying: “Even
so, LORD GOD Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments.”
Revelation 16:7. The
Judgement is a public event in order to reveal
GOD's Righteousness
and Justice before all of Creation. Remember we are all called to be His “witnesses.”
On that day, every creature will witness the Righteousness and Justice of the
LORD.
Day
of Complete Revelation
This Great Day is not only a day of Universal Judgement, it is also a Day of Universal
Revelation, in
which ALL of GOD's attributes will be revealed, and ALL of Satan's attributes
will be revealed, to every creature in existence. On that day, GOD's
absolute goodness and Satan's absolute evil will be revealed to all. On
that day, GOD's plan and purpose of Creation will be revealed, and the wicked
will finally comprehend the gravity and foolishness of their Sins. In
short, ALL will be revealed to everyone.
That day will come as a thief in the night: “But
the Day of the LORD will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear
with a roar, the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and
everything in it will be laid bare.” 2 Peter 3:10.
Where
are the Wicked going?
“And
there was found no place for them.”
Revelation 20:11. There
was no place for them within Creation any longer. What does this tell
us? That every element of uncleanliness and evil will be removed from
Creation. Thus the wicked go into eternal
perdition, that means
they are NEVER coming back. “And
anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire.”
Revelation 20:15.
Who are the sons of
Perdition? Those
who have attained the “fullness
of Sin”
and are one with Satan. They will share the same fate as the one whom they
served, for “A
disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his Master.”
Matthew 10:24. Where
the Master dwells his servant will dwell also, therefore, the wicked will share
in Satan's fate.
